    heya, Im MeLow's yoshi-maining friend :p

    As for the gimpable recovery:

    Yoshi's second jump makes him invulnverable to KB, and he flys the fastest out of all characters, so footstool is very, very rare, and we usually air dodge dunring the huge jump anywho

    Yoshi;s UpB shoots at the stage (you) so you either block or get hit, giving us hang time, and while you're busy, time to recover :D


    Maybe we could do some matches and show you a decent yoshi :p

    Ah sorry for my response delay I was brawling again with Zelda and Sheik again. =3
    I went up against my friends Yoshi (Whom he mains) Needless to say out of 4 matches I only won once. Then Capt Falcon. Zelda was effective and Sheik was just slight but not as much as Zelda. =3

    My Sheik is actually my main grabber seeing as she has mostly no KO power making it hard to use just her in a match but its hard to knock opponents away long enough to Transform into Zelda without getting a Smash attack in my face. xD

    idk but i dont think my approach to projectile spam is conventional at all. 1.run forward 2.air dodge back or forward. o well, it keeps me safe from the follow up grabs.

    Thanks for the Zelda/Sheik compliment. I saw you were bustin out G&W and knew right away Zelda stood almost no chance so I stuck with Sheik. =3 (Good thing about maining both of em is that they can stand in for each others match ups.) Also I don't know the Zelda and Sheik boards are pretty slow on their updates. I do know Marth is unfavorable for both of them. Oh and Your Marth was Pwnge I was close a few matches but hell those tippers are just killer. xD

    which are her hardest matchups? i may be able to help. i play an average most any character. lol i picked lucas first bc outlaw hates it when i play lucas. im relieved u didnt try to dins fire game n watch. lol. and hell yea, our fights were climatic, cinema-quality even :) how do u think my marth did?

    Btw did you choose Lucas in the first round because you saw I mained him and wanted to ditto? xD Sorry I was practicing my Zelda/Sheik. Thx for your help I still need to work on her hardest match ups. =3

    Ah, the first time I played super smash on the n64 was
    when my brothers had a party and one of their friends brought
    it over. I asked someone how to play and they said, "press a and b
    as fast as you can!" After that I would play it at my cousins house
    and got melee when it came out :O

    with my friends and would do wifi with them occasionally.
    Now that I have a reliable( plugged in LOL)access point I
    decided to look for people and found this sight I recognized.

    because his attacks are funny and his
    DAC with his mortar thing is cool.

    anyway, i took a long *** break from brawl, especially the more competitive scene. and by that i mean i played 2 online tourneys when brawl was released and pretty much hid from wifi for a year. what inspired me to get back into it was my engineering class had a pizza party and someone brought brawl in, had a tournament and i won (almost 0 lives lost every match) ppl asked me if i played competitively and i was like...i want to. so yeah here i am, posting on the forums again, trying to improve my game.

    Yay.
    Most characters
    that are higher tier are really hard to master,
    so that balances it out a little, but the things people find out
    you can do with Metaknight are just crazy.

    naw ur not, u give me more of a fight than a couple ppl ive played. keep in mind ppl on this site have looked at the forums of their characters and probably have put hours of practice and studying in.

    he has some really exploitable flaws: short range, low priority attacks, easy to ko. anyways tiers only have to do with how well ppl place in big tourneys with certain characters. sooo characters like metaknight, snake, falco, GnW, marth, and diddy tend to school lucas' and links in pro tourneys
