Not the thread themselves are funny. Some people who post like they are the authority on certain matters.....The easiest to spot is the one in the TOp 5 Best 2D RPGs thread...if you read the last few posts you'll understand what i mean.
I've been reading some things in the user blogs...its pretty funny...
Specifically the one ine the Top 5 Best 2D Rpgs ....people are dumb.

Yeah, but the publisher is Activision, so we can only hope they give out the quality they are famous for. Also, the developer is Radical Entertainment. It has made a weird variety of games, but they DID do the Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and reviewers say that its actually a pretty good sandbox game, so since Prototype is sandbox/action, we can only hope for the best. And yeah, I'll do the comparison blog later on tonight.
So what did you think of Prototype? I'm actually gonna do a comparison blog with Infamous. Maybe..

The first book in the Dresden series is "Storm Front." Run down to Barnes & Noble and/or Borders to get this shiz pronto. It is a fantastic series.
If you're in to the sort of "noir" mysteries but wanna keep your head in the clouds (i.e. have some really freaky and supernatural stuff), then pick up the first book in the Nightside series too, called "Something from Nightside" (Simon R. Green is the author for that one). You'll probably find his stuff...well, stuffy because he makes it gratuitously obvious that he's a Brit at first. When you get to the meat of it, though, you'll find a cool setting and a spiffy main character (who doesn't quite top Dresden).
