    it never finished.
    i already did my 3 matches so i'm a shark.
    they put those ranks there because we can't finish the tournament. we're voting on the ranks now. its pretty crazy around there. i didn't even want ranks. i told them before the tournament started that ranks would cause problems.
    they didn't listen to me and guess what happened? problems. oreos left because he was mad about the random rank he got and they're trying to figure out a new ranking system.
    i'll probably get yelled at by hi5 or something for telling you this.

    eh...it depends on who you fight. ramen is the ONLY pit main around here. the reason why i said meet & greet because pro pit & marths come here too.

    rogue pit is a pro pit and he comes here.
    neo is arguably the best marth and he's here too.
    so that's why i said meet & greet. you have to define "around here".

    then head to the pit boards and study. and train with ramen. he's the best pit around here.

    i've only been playing brawl since i've joined here in may. seriously, only 3 months. and you see where i am now? i'm even going to irl tournaments to get better. i have my 1st one on saturday. i want to become a pro marth like neo or mikeHAZE.
    so i keep training and studying here.

    so you basically want to get better so you can help teach the new players? sounds like a good idea.

    btw, who is going to be your teacher when you join the clan?
    i suggest melifice z or prince ramen.
    melifice z because he seconds ike and ramen because he seconds pit.

    It would be great if you could use Ike. I plan on using Ice Climbers for some serious chaingrabbing games. Either him or pit since Pit has some great aerials and good range.
    although Ike is a powerhouse and can finish off my opponents if Ic's can't.

    yep ^__^ im still learning myself with certain matchups and such, but depending on how good you are, i should have a lot to teach you :)

    Dunno, hard to say. He might just get better with perfect framing or you might just learn to beat him.

    There was a thread not long ago, people posted saying more or less when they plateaued at Smash. the average was 6 months to 2 years, and Slader can't really get much better since the game's mechanics won't let him unless he nails down perfect framing.

    He's like that to everyone that he's beat at least once. He doesn't even know but no one reaches there limit until the brawl for about 6 months to 2 years. he already reached his.

    I never had a teacher, just a bunch of beat downs. I learned the hard way. You don't need one but it'll help a lot I imagine. Slader doesn't know what's up. Just cause he's gotten OK at smash doesn't mean squat. I wasted him more times then I have to you easy. Things start clicking after a while, then the fun truly begins.

    Good. busy with the tournament, adjusting kinks and whatnot. Melfice z did good, I believe he was using someone other than Ike though, I don't really know.

    As a Sonic main, Wario is your worst nightmare. He kills Sonic in no time flat. I use Wario too to some extent, chaingrabs and such. you still don't fully understand the game mechanics and that Jigglypuff is Queen of the air.

    Wario is a monster in the hands of a smart user. He's excellent in the air and has options out the wazoo. Jigglypuff has a very advanced technique called Wall of Pain and not many people can do it. It takes time to learn all these techniques. Much more to defend yourself against them.

    It'll help you see your characters recovery, strength, speed, a bit of move mechanic and overall strengths and weaknesses.

    If your completely done with it, just the main story line, not the collectibles and such, go back and use the people you'd think you'd like to main to go through the whole story again. You'll see more or less what you like. that doesn't mean start a new game, just go through your old one. It helped me.

    Not really. You don't fully understand the game mechanics yet. You finished the subspace emissary right?

    Honestly, couldn't see a difference. When I played seriously it didn't take much to stock you. Even though all that, I'd say Pit. I wouldn't recommend spamming moves since it doesn't work against good players and decays all your moves.
