good question. you need to keep B pressed or tap B timing it perfectly in between the slides I highly suggest though to keep the B pressed since the slide is both longer and more consistent due to easier timing to use the gun alone without a wavedash its definitely better to tap multiple...

try edge guarding more with joker... he reminded me a bit of bayonetta when he didnt have arsene, with his great aerial mobility and recovery you can go ham offstage fair > fair bair retrating nair (similar to cloud's nair edgeguards) non spike dair (and spike ofc aswel) and last but not least...

IMO, the best throw is Uthrow, links very nicely with uair... you can also drag down the opponents with the uair if you fast fall timing it correctly similar to sheik's uair combos/strings (mainly seen on the last game, they still exist though)

Background info on how joker's neutral special works: -hold B to fire bullets repeatedly -tap multiple times to fire bullets repeatedly faster than by just holding -if you move the left stick sideways joker will dash and keep firing bullets if youre pressing or tapping b (works in the air)...

i think that playstyle is wrong... personally, i combo whenever my opponent seems punishable by an abk bair is pretty much the best neutral/spacing tool, you need to master it if you wanna play seriously and... go HAM off stage, if you dont go ham offstage you won't win, this is where bayo...

i have a ton of experience against inkling... this matchup seems really really hard... inkling outprioritizes bayo with everything pretty much. If youre not used to it, the roller will destroy you... inkling's jab is too op for a get off me option... 20 dmg + ink + too quick/unpunishable bayo...
