    thats just the NAME of it! ^_^
    the only playable characters were characters that ever appeared in a mario kart game, super mario stages were the only playable stages, and all super mario items had to be used!
    thats all it means! its still a smash bros tourney!

    and thank you! i felt a little spammy with Ice Climbers though.... are you sure i wasent?
    also, you really werent doing bad yourself! you kirby was REALLY fun to play with!

    good good! slowly but surely, people have been doing theyre matches for the tourney with no original name, and for my mario kart tournament, the finals are going on now so im REALLY excited to see who wins that!
    and im glad i could get you excited in the tourney scene!
    itll be even more fun now to know i have a TRUE friend to maybe compete agains at some point! :laugh:
    and i usually DO make friends when i play, but i just dont befriend them! we brawl, but i guess were not considered "friends"! lol

    and good, i hope you like those tourneys too!

    andwell, tournaments,... you really dont have to worry about what level the tourneys are! its the players that have different levels than the tournaments themselves!

    i KNOW im in the first and third tourney.
    but the Little cup(or whatever it is called) i dont think so...
    but these are low stress tourneys that you dont need to get worked up over! these would be good starters!

    haha well, there is a yoshi tourney going on and a few others!! honestly, check out the online tournament forum on the main page! there are SOOOo manytourneys going on right now its not even funny!! lol

    ok! yea we havent played in FOREVER!
    well as ive said, im hitting a huuuge slump in brawl i feel...
    the reason this is depressing me basically, is becasue, you know how ive been playing in the competitive scene and what not?
    well, i seem to not be getting any better from all my time on SSBB and all the time ive been playing against beter people!
    its not so much depressing, as it is REALLY frusterating...

    Umm. It's best out of three. So we play the first stage (let's say it was Battlefield). If you win, I get to choose the next stage from the Cp list. If I win, you choose the next stage. Same with the last round. You understand?

    playable stages.... meh.... i dont think that matters too much... yea just bring it up and say which one you prefer... most likely your opponent will agree with you! ^_^

    well im SOOOO glad you asked that because thats EXACTLY what i was just going to explain!
    you BOTH tell each other HERE what your counter pick stage is!
    this way you are guarenteed your stage if you lose!
    if you lose, both players will pick your CP(counter pick) and vise versa

    and yea im glad i got on too! lol

    well... stages just serve to start the matches really! you can only pick from one of the stages listed for your first match!

    counterpick stages it gets a little bit more complicated!
    lets say you lost the 1st match of the 3.. you get to pick the counterpick stage.. its basically a stage that gives YOUI the upperhand! whether it is a stage that kirby has an advantage on or, maybe its jsut a stage that you really enjoy playing on!
    this is the same for your opponent, if he loses, he/she gets to pick the counter pick stage..
    but you can only pick stages that are in the counterpick list!

    did this clear things up?

    well, in the thread, i will have a bracket stating who you will be facing against!
    and i will NOT be spectating. i will just have to trust that you and your opponent will give me fair and truthfull results! so i will trust that there will be no lying(which im SURE there wont be, but when making a tourney, you just have to expect that kind of stuff ^_^)

    so if you DO have any more at any time PLEASE ask! i will answer them if you have any others!

    but i DO have to warn you that you can NOT pick pit...:(sorry about that but i had already chose him for the tourney....
    i hope that doesnt switch your decision, but you have to pick between the people who have NOT been picked yet :(

    and not ALL the contestants. just the ones you face you have to add! and thats only until the matches are over! THEN you can delete them!

    no you dont have to be on SWF while playing :)
    just arrange a time to play with your opponent, based on when you BOTH can play

    well, the tourney MAY start this week, you kinda just have to check in every now and then to find out! but ill be able to inform you since you are one of my friends here. :)
    if you get disconnected, well....... im not sure what to do about that.. if it hapens TOO often, i may just have to take you out of the match :(
    kirbycides, bosercides and ganon chokes are the moves where(for kirby) you suck up the person and take them off the edge, (for bowser) you grab the person and they suicide with the opponent in the grab
    i will NOT assign days to you! you will just have to keep an eye out for your opponent and TALK to the person to get the matches in!
    if i find that one person is communicating and making more of an effort to get the matches done than the other, that person will move on.

    and ask any other questions you have!
    i hope i didn confuse you with the answers i gave

    but online tourneys are MUCH different than regular tournaments.
    online tournaments, you are given somewhere are one week to finish each round.
    so the whole tourney will last mabey 4 weeks if you get to the very end!
    if you lose the first round, you are out aftere about one week.

    to post all your information, just post in the tournament thread itself!
