  • It's not really that hard. Jump, airdodge into ground. If you use Peach, it's rarely used, and it's only really the spacies that constantly abuse the WD. Also M3w2 and Weegee to replace normal dashing.
L Cancelling... well just press L before you hit the ground. Short hop, aerial, fast fall, L Cancel. With Marth it's easy, with most chars it's easy. Just kinda not the spacies again.
    I said don't thank me.

And yes half is still a lot. You don't have to leave the Wii on for 10 hours, you can do it in say shorter segments when you're busy doing something or at work.
The 20 hours is combined player times right? So, put in as many controllers as you have, and divide 20 by the number of controllers. Voila, that's the time you should leave the vs mode match on. No need to thank me.
    Try the multi controller trick.

But I suppose that suggestion sucks as bad as my Sonic no?

    Play Melee :roymelee:
    1) If you hate it, do it.

    2) .......................................................................................................

    Cheer up, it's Friday 13th.

And I'll ignore what you just said btw.
    That's Nana's fault lol.
Still, you've picked up the character with the biggest learning curve in the game, so like, don't sweat. They also suck online =\.
You'll be ****** in about a month's time when you got them down and do stuff instinctively.
    Btw how was Sonic?
    Lol I'll host man. BRT.

Yeah I do though, Barge, Kawaii, and various others.
I haven't played brawl in weeks . I have to setup my Wii again.
    I am so sick man . . . .
Can whe do our match tommorow
I'm very sorry for acting stupid earlier buddy. :( T_T I'm so stupid.
    Loads, let me tell you.

    Hey go to the GOTLT Group. Lol. Grand OTL Tournament. Looks like go tilt. Snake Ftilt. <_<;;

    I need date pitching.
    Hmm, true.

But our lag matched nothing to being double teamed in an FFA, by a wolf and ICs.

Ice blocks and Laser...against Yoshi...not good.
Lol, yeah I do need to work on that. But you need to grab more!! XD

But yeah we lag and in dittos, it's hard stuff.
Yeah, I don't know anyone that would go with me. All the people I know are... well, casual Brawlers, that don't want to put up with chaingrabbing, edgehogging and whatnot, and so they'd be tough to bargain with. But I could see where bringing a friend along might help.

Also, I don't mean to sound like the weeklies aren't any fun. It's just a habit of mine: I could be intensely nervous and laughing and stuff at the moment, but when I replay it in my head... well, not ANYWHERE near as enjoyable as it was. Plus, I don't really perform well socially in crowds, which explains why I don't play much when I'm there. 5 matches or so in about 5 hours isn't a whole lot, obviously. Even with all of that clarification, I'd still a bit hard-pressed to keep going though.
Heh, I could probably file a lawsuit and then we'd have the plot of The Incredibles. lololol

Anyway... I'd play offline, but so far... after going to three weeklies here where I'm at... I dunno, they're good, but I just don't get that "accepting "vibe from my own competitive scene. It's more like "Hey let me 3-stock ya real quick so I can go off and play someone else." Oh, and of course, let's add the fact that I apparently should main whomever I can use to knock off 2 stocks in a random match. Riiiiiiiiiiiight. <___________<

Sure, they smile and they're friendly and all... but it just doesn't seem like something that'll help me the more I keep going. If you looked at one of any random number of matches with me against them and ask me what I did wrong, I'd probably say, "picking up the controller and picking a character".

Anyway, at least for the first time period I DID save replays of these matches. For the longest time all my replays were just me against a Lvl. 3 comp.
Well, thanks for dragging me online. I need to be dragged out more, as you can obviously tell.

At least you can see I'm not BSing ANYTHING.

I did get a good laugh at the uh, failed SD attempt at Yoshi's Island with Jiggs. I never saw that one coming... XD

Even if that was funny, at least you see what I mean with the nervousness-to-SD stuff. =_=
    Eh, sure, why not?

I'll go about 3 matches or so. I've still got homework to do that I ought to be doing. <_<

I don't really have a main, so don't get surprised at me changing characters. Random cuts back on the effort needed to select a punching bag for my opponent.

As for stages/items, I don't really care. Umm... I dunno, if there's anything else, I guess just ask? It's SOOO much easier for me to do this through a live chat of some sort... =/
i still dont have any sign from Ricky, and its getting a little late. Even though we haven't done our doubles match, I don't think that you should DQ Either team. If not today then we can get it done this week orthe start of the weekend. And i would like to know where i am in the singles losers bracket. I'm not in there yet :p
Hey buddy, I really losing my touch so much with Peach and Zelda. I feel like a n00b with those two now. I feel so ashame and a disgrace!!! :(
I've given up on winning too.
    That's for Melee.
Brawl is just play to damage or trip.
Well as in, I used to practice a bit and try and observe my opponents. Now it's like, lololol Falcone Pawnch. This game has no competitive merit.
....I didn't just say that, I thought it.
Do you know that I actually did CP Dabuz with Falcon in singles? And taunted all over the place!
And in doubles I went with Sonic, and did the same. Somehow lasted longer than Shadowfire too. I've really stopped caring about Bawrl completely, I think it'll help me improve if I don't really care about how I do.
