Honestly maining ness in PM is like maining luigi in melee. You will get some decent results but it is very very hard to be the best with a char that is good but not great

The matchup is pretty abnormal try to rush down against a ness so he can't space you too hard. Also try not to get hit by his DJC fair because he will almost always be able to get a grab combo on you. his up throw will chain grab to ~40% I think maybe a little less so try and mix up your DI or...

One thing you need to know for ness. GRAB GRAB GRAB! his grabs can lead to DJC Fair to grab or DJC up air all day. You can also Dair off a down throw and tech read with PK fire. You will likely use downthrow for all combos except vs spacies where you will up throw. back throw is a kill move at...

I got destroyed in a tourney by ness back when I played falco and I just loved watching his combos. I picked him up and have never been sad about it.

Ya I am basically on Choknaters side. Ness has a ton of combos/ punish game off his grab you really can win games with just that option. Just to be well rounded learn magnet dashing for some cool mixups though.
