Well, yeah. Since the original Mion is now Shion. It's not like their personalities went away with the name switch. It also sorta explains why the new Shion is so dark compared to the new Mion, who is much more tomboyish and friendly. Fun fact, the new Mion and Rika are the only 2 characters that don't kill anyone in the show.

Yeah, Mion and Shion were originally Shion and Mion, respectively. The older sister was supposed to get the tattoo, which was Mion. The day they switched was the day Mion(Shion) was supposed to get the tattoo or whatever they called it. Because of that, Shion had to become Mion, and vice versa. So technically in present time, Shion is the older sister and is sorta "shunned", although she was originally supposed to get the tattoo. Only the twins know it, though. It explains why Shion knows so much about the family, when Mion was supposed to be the only one of the two who knew.

To answer some of the questions you had at the smashfest, I think that Angel Beats is really good, but it is strange, and ended too soon. And yes, Yurippe is exactly like Haruhi.

Gosick is currently ranked as my 2nd favorite anime series, but people seem to have mixed feelings about the show. Just don't go into it expecting it to be an amazing detective series, because that aspect of the show is not as good as it could be.

I'm actually really considering playing the Shuffle! VN sometime as well. I still have to finish Snow Sakura, Yosuga no Sora, and Flyable Heart, though... :\

I still need to get more volumes, I only have 1-9. Definitely going to get the rest though. I just finished the Demon Exposing side story. It was pretty awesome.

I haven't read all of the manga, but from what I've read, I definitely like the anime more. The moe comedy factor definitely helps. Plus, all the music from K-on is incredible, definitely worth watching just for that.

And I still haven't finished Lucky Star. I need to watch FMP to get more of the references, I think, because I didn't really enjoy LS that much when I watched it... but it was the second anime I ever watched, Haruhi being the first. (Not including DBZ and stuff.)

Tourney jitters are normal. I've had some of the most unlucky sd's in multiple tourney sets before. It even happened to me at genesis. Things like the tether failing for no reason or me hitting side-b when I'm trying to recover. For you I think you might be relating out of state to just playing different players that are unknown to you. I'm guessing that because the utah scene is kinda smaller you know everyone there and you're used to playing the same ppl in tourney. Its not just that the ppl are out of state, its the fact that they play differently and you just need to learn how to fight against more playstyles. Regions in general play similarly because they play each other all the time. Its not the fact that you're playing against a vegas sonic that is or should be messing you up. Its probably because he's different than what you're used to. Even though you're confident at a mu doesn't mean you can beat every main out there just because you know X's playstyle. And you definitely can't play kinzer and expect him to do stuff X does. You need to think of what sonic's options are not what you are used to seeing sonic do. I'm just using this as an ex. I know this isn't your entire
problem that you're describing.

If you think your problem is just being nervous practice by putting yourself on the spot. This is annoying but do mm's cuz it'll put pressure on you to play better. Oh ya I mm'd lada and he beat me 0-2. both games were last hit but damn he's good. You just have to stay confident in yourself. And if anything keep it simple if you arent' sure you will be able to do bair to fastfall quickdraw don't do it. Input errors happen, I find that I sometimes throw side-b's dead straight when I'm trying to angle upwards. But do not stop going out of state to tourneys that is how you get better faster. When I first started playing I only played with my friend jtails who can play every char decently. I figured I didn't need to play anyone else in the world. But I would get confused when I would lose to a G@w when I can beat jtails G@w (and jtails was better too imo) You are limiting your growth when you only play a select few ppl. Its also how you're going to prove yourself. No one cares if you're number 1 out of a pr of 5 ppl that no ones heard of. Everyone underrated X until he got m2k to game5 and did decently outside of Utah.

As far as jitters pysically affecting me ya thats happened. I've been really scared for tourney matches where I do feel slow and I'm actually doing my best to keep still from shaking. I've gotten up from matches and realized how hard my heart was beating the entire time even if the match wasn't that close. Its really something that goes away over time. Don't think of how good your opponent is just focus on the game. If anything only think about how good you are and keep encouraging yourself. Negative thoughts and psyching yourself out is just going to mess you up.

lol. I personally think he just gets really lucky a lot. And just keep playing people that are better than you. The main people I practice with beat me 9 times out of 10 and you just gotta figure out why. Watch vids of mjg and get hyped over the fact that he only hits ppl with projectiles until they're at 180%.
