    Difficulty using Kirby's horizontal cutter

Oh wow, it's actually pretty easy to do once you know how to do it, I was beginning to think it was broken, haha. I think It'd be nice to be able to do it on the ground as well, though it's already pretty fabulous as it is. Thanks everyone!

    Difficulty using Kirby's horizontal cutter

I can't seem to get it when I'm trying to, though I often do it by accident offstage. Am I just getting the timing wrong?

    LAN adapters for online PM

Alright that's good to know, I do in fact live in an apartment complex. I figured it was unlikely that the issue was on my end since my internet speed is... Above average to say the least; but if other wireless signals could become an interference, then the issue might actually be on my end a...

    LAN adapters for online PM

So I haven't dabbled too much into online play yet, but I have played a few matches with people, some were at an alright response time, others were virtually unplayable. I wanted to ask if anyone had tried out any of the LAN adapters that are available for the Wii, and how common and viable of...

    Newbie Intro

That's definitely what I personally would recommend, especially if you don't have friends who actively want to improve to train with. Once things like L Canceling and wave dashing can be performed by muscle memory, I'm sure you'll do much better against others who take the game more seriously...

    Newbie Intro

I don't think you should worry too much about that. IMO, if you're starting out I would recommend going into training mode and practice L canceling, wave dashing, dash dancing, as well as other things you think could be useful. (I also practiced moonwalking so I could get more distance when...
  7. Cokes-a-Cola

    Newbie Intro

The CPU's in this game are an interesting beast. Sometimes they make insane reads, or shield grab you in a way that feels completely inhuman. And then sometimes they randomly jump offstage and kill themselves. Their biggest flaw besides the SD'ing IMO is that they recover way too predictably...
  8. Cokes-a-Cola

    Newbie Intro

Man I hear ya. I haven't met any smashers yet either, but I only really started getting heavily into the scene after Evo2013. I decided to focus most of my training efforts on PM instead of Melee due to it being a newer experience, and that I greatly enjoy the concept of a balanced cast...
