Honestly these are all excellent points. However, characters like Bomberman and Shantae also show up in Spirits Mode and have respective Spirit Battles. Bomberman is still represented in game as an assist trophy. Also, Claus is a base Legendary Spirit (haven’t encountered him yet in WoL tbh)...
