I'm not sure that comparaison is fair, my dude. One is trashtalking, the other is good sportsmanship. One is usually prioritized over the other when creating a healthy online community.

Taunt messages do the job at congratulating your opponent should you feel that a game was especially well played, that's satisfying enough for me tbh. When I want to trash talk, I find lobbies with attached message boards, like here. You could probably find a Discord for it too.

The only non-video game characters that should ever be added to Smash are either Popeye (due to its role in shaping Nintendo as a video game company) or James Bond (due to GoldenEye's prominence during the N64 era). Anything other than either of those would feel wrong imo

If he were his own character, absolutely. As it stands, he's still terrible, but I wouldn't buff him to the point where he would be a great character on his own, the point of PT is that all three characters are kind of average but can switch to compensate for bad match-ups/situations.

I don't understand why Skull Kid is so often touted as the logical next Zelda character when both Tingle and Impa have a longer history with the series while also not being one-off characters. Hell, even Vaati is more of a recurrent Zelda character than Skull Kid was.

I'd lay off competitive multiplayer games, to be entirely fair with you. If you were playing something that was single player, then you'd have a static experience on which you can assign smaller goals so that you can see and follow your own improvement. Playing against other players is too much...

Favoring buffs to lower-tier characters over general nerfs is perfectly reasonable, but to ask for no nerf whatsoever is ridiculous, you don't want to cause powercreep by buffing everyone to ridiculous levels. Some things do deserve to be nerfed.

More likely than not, Side B's use as an early kill confirm tool will get seriously nerfed. Expect the burying time to be toned down to the levels of DK's Side B or K Rool's d-tilt.
