Recently when doing a dare to use only shell moves, I was able to do Up-Throw -> Footstool -> D-Air. Seems situational, but got some good percentage out of it.

My statement didn't even imply that. I felt I was pretty straightforward in saying that in the little time you have been here it has been doing a limited amount of things which would be more likely to give us the impression that you are generally displeased with most of the things about the game...

I mean, to be fair, your whole time on here has only been bashing Bayonetta. Then you go and follow up 'I can be pleased' with nitpicking Fox's aesthetics to justify your reason for not maining him. I'm sure there's plenty about the game you're satisfied with, but from what we've seen so far...

Bayo is killing this community about as much as Melee Fox is killing the Melee community.

I just don't like :4myfriends: He's a heavyweight big hitter with lots of disjointed hitboxes, he has a counter, attacks with gigantic radii and just...blehhhh for me he's even worse than fighting :4cloud:

Actually his up-smash has "shellguard" and is invulnerable to all forms of damage that attack it. It's not actual super armor though.

I don't think Bayonetta needs to be nerfed. She's just another character everyone must learn about and adapt to. I've been able to escape several of her basic strings as Bowser, someone who obviously isn't adept at dealing with combo intensive characters. It doesn't really matter if there's not...

I used to be able to handle DDDs ok but I think they might not have been as representative of a d3 main as I thought. How do I wrestle stage control from him? D3 seems to have a lot that goes against Bowser - better zoning materials, way less punishable Aerials and smashes, better recovery, etc...

Really late to this, but wanted to say you did an awesome job on this. As a Bowser main with a Mewtwo secondary, I heavily appreciate this.

Rest in rip. I guess you could say 1.1.6 will spoil Bayo's Mayo. Still crossing fingers for a few small Bowser buffs just because I can - he's pretty much fine as is but a few changes would make him much better

Good point. There's enough landing lag for on-stage Up-B that another Bowser can side-smash you freely. I suppose altering Fortress didn't occur to me because I use grounded Fortress so much and, more often than not, I don't find myself needing to recover high. I'll make an edit of it in my post. :)
