I doubt it's fair. Given that Luminary hits Marth and MK in the cinematic trailer with a forward-face aerial swipe, I think it's safe to say Hero's fair will be a pretty standard vertical arc slash. Which is good, because vertical arcing fairs are almost always really good.

I was surprised to see them added so quickly. Warchamp7 on the ball, even made a Luminary wallpaper (though no Erdrick, sadly) Also, I gotta love how Hero's icon on my mains list displays as Captain Falcon's 64 icon, lol

This is me with Erdrick. It's like, that is my childhood reimagined in HD right there. I expect people who played B-K as kids feel the same.

Hopefully in a few years Dragon Quest will be among the real big-hitter RPGs in the west.

I saw a pretty good idea of having their Classic route be Stamina matches, and their maximum Stamina increases after each match to simulate leveling up. Either way, I think it's fair to say their Classic route will have a distinct RPG slant to it, with Rathalos being the final boss.

It does my heart good to see people starting to appreciate Dragon Quest more. Hero is easily my all-time favourite newcomer, and the fact they're getting more people into this series makes it all the better!

Always gotta be Erdrick. Dragon Quest III was a huge part of my childhood, and he's stood out as the ideal 'Hero' design to me since I was 7.
