Don't attack first. The Fox ditto involves heavily on baiting your opponent to commit to attacking first. Use a combination of your lasers and your dashdance in order to do so.

I cannot stress enough how safe and passive you have to play against Marth. He has defensive tools that are just that good enough that they completely surprass Fox's aggressive options (such as being on his shield). If you're playing against a Marth, and "one grab means I lose a stock" isn't...

This. Not only this, but it also helps you develop your own playstyle and advance to the next level of play. The only time that I would revert to asking for critique is when I absolutely do not know what I'm doing wrong, or I do not know what I need to work on.

Also, I'm gonna start being more active on this thread again. I've been willing to help other Fox players improve, and I feel like I might as well share my perspective on things.

0:41 - Not the right choice to nair in this situation. The Falco was already shielding as you're landing, anticipating an attack on his shield. Since that didn't happen, it was safe for him to jump out of his shield as you landed. In this situation, use your juggling/anti-air options instead...
