I don't rate the single player modes in my comparison. I can see why one would, though. Thing is, Project M will constantly evolve. Both in design and programming from the developers' side, and in the player metagame, whereas Melee can only evolve on the player side.

I like Silent Wolf. I think he is a pretty cool guy and a really good Smasher. But that match isn't really indicative of anything. M2K was coming from winners, had already won the first game, and it just seemd like he was messing around in the Marth match. If you watch the rest of the matches...

Bowser has a similar Down-B thing, Jigglypuff has the multiple air jumps, and DDD has a hammer :)
