how do I practice ledgedashing on 4.07++; i cant seem to enable overlays for invincible frames or overall col bubbles

Is there a fix for all star mode? Mine crashes a lot, I saw something on reddit about editing the DOL file but it wasn't very extensive to those unfamiliar with a hex editor. I tried searching this thread as well but looking for replies to certain posts in a 180 page thread is hard.

Something I noticed when using the new purple controller, its perfect except for one thing. Sometimes it doesnt dash to the right, it just starts walking,,,,going to the left this is never a problem, and pulling up the thing on 20xx that shows the controller inputs it doesnt look like the stick...
