The game is perfect, and one of the things that make it perfect, is of course the amazing taunts.

You can use it to celebrate a cheap gimp.

Multiple Tauntcanceling to show of.

Make your opponent rage.

Play smash for the first time and don't know the buttons. Then press the L-button and then be amazed(or killed by your opponent).

But which character has actually the coolest taunt?

Link shows his acrobatics by standing on one foot.

Luigi who actually kicks, and the kick can do (not)INZANE damage.

DK who makes a burp sound, and can either looks like he don't know whats going on, or he just say whatever I'm to good for this clown.

And on and on....

How is taunt cancelling showing off?
falcon has the best taunt as it's actually viable for:
mid combo taunt cancels
pivot taunt cancel ledge hog
taunt and take a pause/snapshot to get the facepalm animation

2 synced falcon taunts during teams is cool too.

And ive done mario taunt cancel in mid combo.

The best taunt in my opinion is..

Falcon for cancelling
Falcon for normal...

taunts can suck because whenever noobs get cheap kills on you they will spam the taunt over and over again, even though it wasn't even a cool or noteworthy kill (see: pika f-throw > f-smash)

I'm pretty ****ing good at taunt-canceling with Yoshi if I do say so myself, must be because I play with him too much.

Taunt-canceling with Ness is really annoying though.

And were is the best place to taunt? Hyrule tent? The moving platform on saffron?

just smash stick across, release, taunt, repeat in opposite direction.

mediumly difficult:

i can taunt cancel with everyone non stop (bar yoshi).
jiggs took me longer to get down though, ness is easy peasy

Yea, Yoshi's is easy now, but was the hardest to learn.
I like to taunt cancel (not let go of stick)> fair of the edge with Yoshi.

I also pivot taunt cancel for edge hogs everytime with Falcon lol. If you don't hear it, it probably because I just messed up.

You can do Yoshi's taunt cancel easily on top of the **** tent

You can do anybody's taunt cancel up there pretty easily. Except for Falcon, oddly enough, since he's so quick.

Kirby's is the only one that serves an actual purpose without cancelling or considering your opponents fragile physche.

I think he was saying that Kirby's taunt cancel is the only one that has a use, which is canceling your power without lag.

luigis taunt is practical when there are two luigis and you are facing a puff. I remember me and bombb did a luigi taunt chain on some scrub at the end of a 2v2 for like 37 damage. It was pretty legit.

Falcon (taunt cancel, best sound, good pose)

High:
Mario (great sound, taunt cancel, great pose)
DK (not a good one for taunt cancels, but I love the shoulder shrug)
Ness (funny sound, taunt cancel, ok pose)
Fox (it's just so arrogant)
Jigglypuff (good sound, taunt cancel, funny pose)

Mid:
Yoshi (I like the pose and the sound, taunt cancel)
Kirby (good sound and pose, but no taunt cancel)
Pikachu (Good sound when taunt canceled, pose is ok)

Low:
Link (cool looking pose I guess, but not much else going for it)
Samus (I kind of like the sound, but overall not a great taunt)
Luigi (No sound, but at least it's an attack?)
