RAWR!
Ok, that's what I thought. Would be funny if he did that for a PotD.Newcomer playable characters.

Dude, he's already confirmed as a assist trophy...watch, samurai goroh will be confirmed tomorrow.
I sure hope you're trolling because the rest of us know that in Lucina's case, it was Lucina or nothingShould've brought this guy in and scrapped Lucina.
Not really, he's had some recent games with the design he has in Smash 4....Pac-Man?
This has me laughing at all corners (although if Shulk gets in as an AT, then I'll probably take those words back).
O....O
hehehheheh* found on neogaf*
You have a pretty good point there, I don't see why not. Thing is though, since his game was only in Japan, he wouldn't too popular. So did Ice Climbers. Their last (and only) game was in 1985. Its been re-released a lot, but so has Takamaru's game.
Takamaru DID appear in at least 2 other titles (none of them were from his franchise). I forget the if he appeared in others (the Nintendo Land one doesn't count for him as he didn't appear [though the Miis were dressed like him and the minigame had his game's atmosphere]).At least Takamaru is in the game. While I feel bad for people who really wanted him or thought he had a strong chance, I'll admit I'm glad there's more focus on current popular characters. There's still some retro love going around (mega man, Pac-man, little Mac) but other newcomers Like Robin and Lucina have really helped me be more interested in a game. Smash has some great retro characters as playables, and with the desires to see Ridley and K. Rool and Issac, I just feel like if they are to have a better chance we can't afford more retro. Newer characters like Shulk seem more likely and possibly better choices for them to include since Xenoblade will have another game. Ice Climbers, despite their inclusion, haven't had another game yet, and Takamaru may be much the same. (Though I'm not sure on that one since I guess he was in a fighting game?)
OR JUMPMAN!we get new retreo charcter in every ssb (mr. game and watch ice climbers R.O.B.) so there is a high chance to get new retreo charcter the most likely is mach rider
I meant every word I said, wether it "works" or not. And I'm obviously not actually expecting him to switcheroo an AT with a PC anytime soon.Yeah, because Samurai Goroh TOTALLY uses pinwheel knife attacks.
Doesn't hurt to keep all of the current FE characters either, and only Lucina is a clone while the rest are unique.
And make on of them an AT? Why of course, everyone knows that if one of them becomes an assist trophy a new unique character materializes in it's place. That is EXACTLY how it works.
One can dreamwe get new retreo charcter in every ssb (mr. game and watch ice climbers R.O.B.) so there is a high chance to get new retreo charcter the most likely is mach rider
Marth. It should've been obvious, really. Playable characters are never announced in regular Pic of the Day's.
You wanted Takamaru to be a Marth clone?Should've brought this guy in and scrapped Lucina.
They are.It was released in 2005, so, in terms of technically, let's put in Pac-Man, Ness, Lucas, and Captain Falcon, as "retro" characters.
Poor Stafy and Saki.Remember guys this could be a little mac situation. "Assist Trophies: The interns of Smash Bros."
