Mask Link met with a terrible fate... one that may or may not involve drowning. He's ben annihalated in both chance and want. If one were to disregard the 12% chance score given by BluePikmin11, Mask Link would have received only about .3% in chance and would have been squarely in last place. As it stands, however, Mask Link is ranked just above Cloud, Primid, Sandbag, and Trite on the chance scale. As for want... he's trailing fellow Majora's Mask candidate Tingle. OUCH.

Today we're going to be travelling to a different era of Hyrule. Please rate Chancellor Cole in chance and want today. I know he's not a familar face, so I'll provide some exposition. Chancellor Cole is a leprechaun (not really) and a political authority figure in the game Spirit Tracks. He turns evil and attempts to revive a demon; alongside his lacky Byrne (who serves as the brawn to Cole's brains) he serves as the main villain... for most of the game.

Tomorrow's day has been placed under a powerful hex. Yeah... you know of whom I speak. Tharja will be on stage tomorrow, so please leave your predictions for her. Brawler610 wins a whopping ten extra nominations for becoming the fourth person in this game's history to hit the amount on the dot. Gratz!

Prediction - 0% - As far as I know, he's not popular, has had no effect to the timeline of the series, is generally considered forgettable, and is outcompeted by several other characters within the franchise. He may be a final boss with a stage representing the game, but it takes much more than that to get in.

Want - 0.5% - When I asked for more representation for the Toon games, I was thinking of Tetra and Vaati, not this guy. I almost gave him a zero, but I asked myself: "Is he really as bad as Sandbag?"

One time villain, arguably not even the MAIN villain of his game. If Vaati and Skull Kid failed to make the cut, I don't see why the demon politician has a chance at all. Spirit Tracks sounds like it was an interesting game, but from what I've read it doesn't seem to be because of this fellow, and (Spirit Tracks Spoilers here)

A Zelda character who doesn't appeal to me in the slightest and I can see others feeling the same. Tingle, Tetra, Toon Zelda, Impa, even Midna all have better chances. Vaati, Skull Kid and Ghiraham have better chances for a secondary Zelda antagonist slot. Hell; Medli would probably outrank this guy in popularity should she ever get nominated and she's a (admittedly quite likable) secondary character in a single game.

Has her fans, and they're a passionate bunch should they vote so she'll definately do better than Owain did. Some may argue she's also a good choice for a magic user in place of Robin due to his/her customizable looks, skills, voice and gender.

Like someone previously, I played his game and I enjoyed it. But I didn't even remember who he was. He's a pawn, he's not that interesting and he dies. Spirit Tracks doesn't loom large in the Zelda mythology either, really (not to say that it wasn't a fun and high-quality game).

I don't think I need to explain about how there are several much better choices for Zelda.

That said, he's more likely than Masked Link, imo.

Every day, a character is chosen up to be rated by users. We rate their likelihood, which determinates how likely the character is to appear on the next Smash Bros game, and, optionally, we can also rate our want, which determinates how much we would like to see the character in the game! While you can be as biased as you want with the latter, be careful not to give characters an unrealistic likelihood rate, unless you have a valid argument to back it up.

You might have noticed the long list in the OP. That is the nomination list, which scores how many nominations a character has received. Whenever we rate a character, we are given five nominations we can give to any character we want. It's up to you either distribute them to five or so characters or give them all to a single character. The character with the most nominations accumulated at the end of the day shall be put up for us to predict!

What does that mean? Well, whenever a character is predicted, we are predicting how much the character will score in likelihood the next day! Maybe if you start petitions, e-mail Sakurai, spread the word on miiverse, start a facebook group, rally on reddit, create some ad campaigns and just make some noise, maybe you could get your lucky loser as an assist trophy in Smash 6 or 7.
