Lucario hasn't done enough to earn a spot above PIka IMO. Greninja is debatable but I'm inclined to say the same. We had Eddy get 3rd at Avalon this weekend too.

This is in theory by the way. In practice Mewtwo probably hasn't done enough to get above Pika. Though I'm not sure that'll stop the hype train.

And to be fair, both Mewtwo and Greninja have now placed higher at a major than Pika ever has...

bc1910 Lucario does have some impressive wins as of late (Leo, Kirihara, Rain, Hyuga). The question for his overall viability is whether he hates Cloud more than Greninja hates Sheik. Post-1.1.5 the answer might be "yes," but I'm not sold yet.

Abadango dropped playing MK full time because the ladder combo was no longer a pick up and play strat, as would be inferred when he said he picked up MK because of 0 deaths. Stands to reason that he uses mewtwo moreso now because of the ease of use for high reward with this current patch.

If he wins pound... I dunno, I think it would just reinforce that kind of mentality, unintentionally or not.

You all aren't very good at being consistent. Mewtwo's results at majors are still worse than Pika's without a doubt, arguably worse than a lot of other characters because he couldn't do it solo. He ain't high tier yet. I'll believe it when Mewtwo does it multiple times... completely solo. No MK backup.

He used MK for one match. Idk, top 8 out of 900+ with solo M2 screams somewhere in high tier to me, making mince meat of two other perceived top tiers Fox and multiple Sheiks.
