I don't think DHD will be announced at random. I think it'll be like when Robin was announced - Sakurai will announce a 'special video' to be shown.

Yeah, same, but with something new that they couldnt have shown before! Really wonder what though...a new DLC mode? The media and 50 Facts covered the game as it is now quite extensively! But yeah, I expect a "tune in" message... next weekend? Maybe the weekend before launch?

The stage looks trippy and awesome at the same time; this gave the idea of recreating parts of the Poké Floats stage, that sunset (or maybe sunrise?) background fits very well.

Duck Hunt Dog's trailer is being saved for something... When they showed off Bowser Jr's trailer they knew it would be nice, but since people already knew about him, not a good finisher. That's why we got Mewtwo after. So... does Duck Hunt Dog's trailer feature something unseen like 8 player smash was featured in Bowser Jr's trailer? Will whenever they show off Duck Hunt dog ALSO have a special announcement? Do Mewtwo or some other DLC characters or stages make appearances in Duck Hunt Dog's trailer? There's gatta be some reason it's being held back! They know it wouldn't be hype to just say "Okay, here it is" and have a trailer for Duck Hunt, while nice, doesnt show off much of anything we dont already know about besides probably a Duck Hunt stage.
As for todays pic... ahhh, I dunno... a picture of the pac-man ghosts and Luigi being scared captioned "Happy Halloween"?

Because he's an unlockable character in the 3DS version. Ness and Ganondorf have been shown but are still on the secret characters section.

Jigglypuff is unlocked in VS order after Duck Hunt (Duo). They're all in proper order(except Bowser Jr. and Mr. Game & Watch), other than Lucina being outside of the secrets page. But he also didn't list Dark Pit as a newcomer for some reason. The order might get changed later on that page.

Pretty frustrating that Jigglypuff is being held back just because she has to coincide with DHD's reveal, we've already seen footage of her on the Wii U for pete's sake.

If that's what it means, then I'd be happy with it. But since I still believe in a theory on "Sakurai NEVER bring Kirby related things that's NOT created by himself", I gotta sadly doubt on Bandanna Dee's appearance in Smash...

Not to mention how awesome having nearly every menu/tutorial theme song across every Smash available to play will be.
