I'm so annoyed that there isn't a healing rest customization... I know no-one would use it as regular rest is amazing now, but dem in-game mechanics man!!

So far Jigglypuff is looking really solid in Smash 4, can't wait to try her out and get those satisfying Rest kills.

Jigglypuff looks epic in this game. I heard some good stuff about Rest as well.

Rest does 20% damage on hit, 35% over time with the flower, and can kill as low as 50% on normal stages. It's crazy good.

It won't be as simple to set up rest due to vectoring and not incredibly high amounts of hitstun, but that being said I think puff has a lot of potential. I'll definitely be playing her like crazy and doing my best to push her as far as I can

Oh yeah, when I play as Jigglypuff, I tend to mistake it (since Jigg's gender is unknown) as Kirby, and use Sing instead of final cutter when recovering XD.

It doesn't always work, but if you can somehow pull of Sing mid-air with your opponent on the ground and it lands towards the end of it, you get a huge opportunity to attack.

Your opponent would see, and even hear that coming a mile away lol. They would have to like stand under you and not move away or hit you, which I find pretty unlikely.

I use sing in midair for that purpose because they fall asleep when you land. Good for striking a Rest at that moment.

At first glance dieing at 50% to rest doesn't sound very intimidating, especially from a game like Brawl. However, people have to remember that in this game people live till like 200% often due to the blast zones being extended, meaning its actually stronger considering it kills that early. 1/4 of what it normally takes to kill.

Though, there is a downside to another mechanic change, people can just die off the top of the blastzone now w/o a star or screen KO. Someone was playing Jiggs and did rest and the opponent died off the top w/o an animation, was able to come back and revenge kill Jiggs. That would never happen in Brawl, but it can happen in this game. So be wary of that. It sucks.

Rest is majorly Competitive in both Smash (Melee and Ssb4) and Pokémon.

Jiggypuff is amazing in this game. I personally wanted pound to be changed to fairy wind though.

After thinking for a little, I think Back-Turning Song would be boss for edge guarding. It won't damage the player so they can get back up. Turning a Recovery like Super Jump Punch will kill the opponent.

I'm planning on walling then repelling them offstage. Jiggs should make it back just fine I hope.

Jigg's recovery is still really amazing. Rising pound isn't quite as good, so vertical recovery is really just your jumps, but your'e still good to go way off stage with puff.

Jigg's recovery is slightly worse than in Brawl. Rising Pound is pretty much useless. (or at least the default one is)

As a Jiggly player casually for 15 years, I'm very excited to use Jigglypuff in this game. She looks pretty viable as well!

She also looks extremely cute. Can't wait to see her Wii U model!

I'm really excited to use Jigglypuff. It's my number one favorite Pokemon, so I'm glad to see it's useful again in SSB4. I didn't play much of Brawl mostly because my two favorites were terrible (Jiggs and Sheik). It's nice to be back in the Smash community!
