Depends on the match-up, there are no best stages.

Also, did you guys know that up angled Ftilt reaches the platforms on Yoshis and FoD, perhaps even BF and Stadium? I don't know I think it could be decent mix-up to prevent a spacie from falling from it, instead of using Uair regularly.

I kinda wish I could be more like PP by how he understands his things in depth analysis, for me I require much more practice to understand it in some level, sorry! lol.

Thats a really good find Kage. You can probably do some cool stuff to spacies to prevent them from falling through the platforms are keep shield pressure with fair to angled up ftilt

I think it's pretty good to shield poke when let's say he's trying to look for a shield drop, when I tested it yesterday it seemed like it went through shield often if you aim it right.. It's definitely better than Uair for that purpose.

Yea I'm stupid, dunno why i didn't test it first. I guess i was thinking from a platform to the top platform, which does work.

I don't think that matters too much. You're both different people, with different ways of playing. They both work out pretty well, from what I've seen.

On a side note, the NC Winterfest is going to be streamed, so you should all watch it and see us Ganons beating everyone else.

Well it matters when I'm trying to explain myself when I know I suck at it.. I mean I keep trying to improve in that way too but man it's tough. =P

I just got back from the Winterfest. I beat people with my Ganon, which was cool. I lost to people with my Ganon, which is also cool. I even came close to beating people with my Kirby, which was cool too. I almost took a stock off PP's Ganon, which was even cooler.

Chris and Jim lead Crews. I had to leave before they started, so I'm expecting some good stories. Hopefully someone's recording it.

I feel like picking up ganon as a new secondary. He is really weird, a combination of power, clunkiness and really surprising movement techniques. I've learned that fighting with my back towards people is a really safe way to go about it. Bair is really meaty and reverse uair is both a good ranged poke and an anti-air. Both can be middle-hopped which is sexy (still haven't learned when to do that tho...).

Any tips?

lmao @ pp's ganon

madddd hyped for apex! people are going to get fisted and bodied
Ditto PP at apex. Have you before? I'd put my money on you, but you won't be saying "lmao" when someone mentions his Ganon lol. He's only good at dittos though, because of his general smarts and spacing.

Lol sveet how many times in the past have I told you ganons bair *****? Marth's fair ain't got a chance when it's fully spaced. Glad to hear you're playing some Ganon.

Lol, that's funny, I kinda picked up Ganon as a fun secondary recently as well.

Apex is probably my last tournament.. I'm going to use all the time to become a pro fighter after this. =) There is simply no way I'll be able to improve in smash anymore but I'll probably still play it for fun, here and there when I have time. (I still love the game of course) It's definitely time to look ahead and continue the road to my heart. I think I've learned every lesson possible from the rivals/friends and tournaments I've traveled to and encountered. It was probably the best moments of my life.. and now, I need more than that. I'm going to use everything and do this, it's going to be epic. Now, I want to inspire millions of people.. this is something I think I need to do. =)

I work 84 hours a week and still play to improve. You don't have to give up smash altogether just because there are other things more important in your life (as there should be). Plus, you can't train all day every day lol. Rest is important for allowing your muscles to rebuild, which is a great time to play smash.

Ya but the gym I'm going to is very costly, there's no way I'll be able to travel. Heh, like I said of course I'll be able to play it sometimes but all my money will be going towards being a better fighter.

Wish I could hook it up bro. The union I'm in currently has a federal moratorium against hiring. I was the only person to get in in 2011.

lol, you can't be everything.

specialise in sambo, though. stick to your roots, boy.
Of course I can, you want to why? I will learn certain disciplines yes, but it's up to me to use it in the way I think is right. I can punch in different angles, or kick the way I want to. I think that's why certain fighters fail, they get stuck too much in their conditioning.. gotta be creative with anything. That's why Ganon is not Ganon but Kage. =)

so you're telling me that you're could learn and/or utilise kung fu, kenpo, bjj, aikido, wing chun, jkd, boxing, krav maga, judo, taekwondo, dim mak, and muay thai?

that's not even practical, let alone logical.

stick to like three arts tops. didn't you just make a post about how it's better to focus on one character or something? same logic applies.

No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying I can learn boxing, jiu-jitsu and like Muay-thai or something... but then use it in the way i want.
