While I could believe characters like Luigi being moved to the starting roster at this point, I can't believe some of the characters on there being starters, nor can I believe that all of them would be starters at once.

Also, I'm not sure if Lucas is returning this smash, but that's another topic for another time .

I doubt it shows anything new but the Pokemon page could be interesting. Also, I get the feeling that Sakurai didn't reveal any vets yet so it wouldn't mess up the accuracy of the "all characters on the site" claim by CoroCoro so more character reveals may be on the way soon.

It would be weird that every character revealed so far is the starting roster that would mean that every character revealed before the game release is a starting character and that would mean that only 10 characters would be unlockable i think that only 25-30 characters would be the starting roster

Depending of how many people we have, then I don't really know how many starters we'll have. We usually have about 3/4 of the roster as starters.

I assume we will have between 45-50 characters so if 35 characters are starters that would only be 10 unlockable characters and I find that kinda of small so that's why I think it would be like 30

Pokemon Trainer included Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur.

Even if you don't consider them their own fighters, each of them has enough moves to be their own anyway.

It's 23 but still, its a bit over a third of the Brawl roster that's unlockable. So it could be any amount in SSB4. I still think around 15-20 though.

Yeah counting them as separate. I got confused with some of the numbers posted above, but yes you're right, 21 roster slots.

I sincerely hope that no more than like, 14 or so characters are unlockable. Sure I like unlocking characters, but at a certain point it's just a drag.
