Since a Japanese demo of the game has been released, we're going to put it all into one thread to prevent clutter and multiple people making threads about it.

Judging by Daan's pics, it looks like there's only five playable characters, Mario, Link, Pikachu, Mega Man and Villager. Interesting choices; I wonder if all their alt costumes are usable?

I do not know, but I will say it is a little over 1000 blocks of download space.

True, that isn't much; 1016 blocks = ~130MB (barely 5% of the game). Either way, I'll totally get the demo to try out Mario if it comes stateside!

I'm certain they didn't package all the models and stuff, but perhaps they forgot to get rid of files containing strings?

Honestly, most of those character will probably be mid tier. This will give most of us a chance to try out mechanics and maybe find new ones! Who knows, there may be something great in these characters!
