OK people don't panic or anything lets just meet at the Colegio just like previously agreed. I'm sure that one of the tournaments organizers will be there and he can tell us where the place will be. Even so I think I have a good idea of where the place is. If you get lost or anything here is my cellphone feel free to call: 787-637-8459.

As you can see, the order of the posts shows that the info was given AFTER I posted so don't go saying crap like that. I wasn't trying to confuse anyone.
Anyway, tournament was fine, around 18 people went.
I think it was a pretty decent tournament.
Pros
Lots of Advanced Players in 1 place.
Ruleset was MLG based.
There was no flaming, respect at all times.
Reunion of Smash players from all over Puerto Rico.
Met lots of cool smashers.
Cons-
Constricted Area, very uncomfortable.
VERY HOT
LOUD TEKKEN Players ( I didn't mind them really, I wish we were loud too, release the anger!)
Un-organized event leaders-, I had to take over the Smash Area and announce names and everything for they weren't ready for it.

Winner- HDL
2nd Place- Eval
3rd Place- Evil
4th Place- B4k4
Worthy Mention- EOTG- Essence of the Gods showed a pretty mean Mario which gave Doji (second strongest of the Gamers Guild Players present) a really huge hard time.
As for others, they were all very great. Thanks for coming.

This is ****ing lame. How the hell was I supposed to know that they decided to do a last minute change? I got to the Centro Comunal at about 11:30 and waited for 2 hours with my friend Carlos, by which time we got pissed off and went to some pub and played pool for the rest of the day.

It was really hard to figure out a way to get there, and I'm just really dissappointed by all this. I hope next time it'll be more organized, and I'll probably ask for someone's phone number, in case some **** like this happens again.

Oh and HDL I guess you're back now, do you think I could come over this wednesday (the 22nd)?

Haha, I'm so ****ing lost right now, calendar-wise.

I dunno man you're the host, you tell me. If you're home during the day probably something like 11am or noon would be pretty good. That way I could be home by the afternoon and not leave my little brothers alone at home after dark. But, whatever's fine really except for after 6pm.

I got 4th place even though HDL beat me in the loser's bracket? Whoah. Not that I'm complaining, but I didn't know it worked that way ^^ Despite that last-minute change of location and being in the same room as 3 other tournaments, it was a great experience for me. Got in plenty of friendlies, and being able to fight new people was a refreshing experience. EOTG, ELMO, and VAIN almost handed my *** to me and had me dashdancing and wavedancing like a madman to the very end ^^; Losing to HDL and Eval made me start practicing franticly again :3 I know there were some others which almost beat me but I'm bad with names >< It's too bad I didn't get to play Xyhthyx or Dojima outside of friendly team matches though, I haven't been able to play you two in way too long.

Oh and EOTG, you should be glad you're the only Mario. I know a handful of people that play Fox and Peach, so when we get together the matches seem so redundant XD Jandro plays Mario for fun though, he's not that experienced yet with him but he plays decently, you could try playing him at the next tournament (his parents remembered something at the last minute and prevented him from going.)

Off-topic: Doji, I've always wondered, who's the girl (and from which anime) in your sig? It's too cute.

Well try coming around 10 or so. That’ll give plenty of time to do some heavy training. Every match and moment spent in serious training is progress well-earned.

I guess i did somewhat remotely decent since it was my first time in a tourney. What did you think about my brother, he's the one who played with Uriel using Doc and Capt Falcon


I'm practicing the fast-falling after aerials, WD's and spot dodges, all of which i barely used

My play style with the plumber is still very raw and i'm still learning how to implement "advanced" strategies effectively

Your brother knows what he is doing but still needs to work on advanced techs. As for you , you tried to Wall o' pain me. You have the concept of how to play a Mario at least at your style but I didn't see any advanced techs either. I guess that's what you need.

Now I noticed that you live in Bayamon. I have a few friends that live there so if you want to play just tell me and we'll practice.

Actually, maybe at that tournament you were the only Mario, but Capa (Alfonso) from Isabela (I think) actually plays an awesome Mario. He's an original GG member currently high tier if I'm not mistaken. He was in the Mayaguez tournament with a friend of his and played some mean team matches. I don't remember what his team placed and the GG's page is down at the moment so I can't check. He's been out of the scene lately though, I'm not sure why. Either way, excellent Mario competition there if you're looking for it.

I've watch around 2-3 episodes of it already(It's better than Naruto or Bleach I swear). The intro alone can break the will of the most hardened man... Awww KAWAII. The full name of the series is Fushigi boshi no Futago hime but you can find it by Futago Hime

On a side note Alfonso (plays doc but is dabbing with c. falcon) is from Utuado and has of recently joined the Navy. Another notable player is Rod of Mananti. Damian also plays Doc, Vain used to play Mario and switched to Marth but once in a while he uses Mario. I also play a mean Doc if you are interested. I have also played HDL's Mario which is good too. The plumber and the unlicensed MD are everywhere... you just have to ask.

Man I haven't played smash in like 2 weeks... Im ... so ... needy...

ah i use link,yoshi and fox a prety wierd line up but this are the characters that i have fun whit o and thanks about the tournament i dont know if any of you were there or if the competition sucked cause it was my fist one, so that is why i want to play guys from here the smash boards to see if i am good or if i am bad either way i know that i need more practice

the characters we used to win the tourney were: me link al the tourney and ATH used samus most of it but in the finals he used peach and c.falcon i think a guy recorded the tourney and ath have his cel. number i will check if i can get my hands of that video an post it here so you can rate us or something

nice to see there is good players here. ATH, Blazing an I are close friends and we live close too so we should gather at AHT's place to meet more people from the P.R. league.

I think we are hardcore players, ATH's plays a mean samus and i've seen his falco and c. falcon getting in very good shape, also Blazing plays a good Link, my main right now is Sheik and im playing with Ness too, I really like Ness he's very cool

in fact im going to retire from series after I see the complete serie's of Bleach cause its soo broken... there will never b something that surprices better than that. If you havent seen the second and part of the third season you havent seen anything about this amazing series

Kmahhl, Bleach is DBZ all over again... I've skimmed around the manga for a while (roughly around 20 episodes ahead of the anime which I watch with some friends).
Bankai = Super Saiyan.... it's lame really. I used to like it before they went to Soul Society because the presentation was very different (not like now which is who has the bigger soul slayer GRUAHHHHH *hair turns blonde*). Watch a manly anime like Mahoraba, Azumanga Daioh or Yakitate Japan. Those are too good to pass up. And dont forget Bokusatsu Tenshin Dokuro Chan. It wins.
