I live right off of 459 too, between the cemetery and the intersection leading to Jobos. A street called Costas del Atlantico, maybe you've heard of it. Anyway, I'll PM you whenever I see you on.

I'd also like to know at what time do you guys get together on tuesdays, and where exactly. I'll admit it's a stretch for me to be able to go, but you never know. I will be enrolling at the Colegio next year, so, provided people still get together to play by then, it should be pretty sweet.

Sounds like your accusing me of asking for money.....

I am not requiring for any of you to pull any money from your pockets. This is my gift to you. You can make money to buy plane tickets for OOS tourneys with out taking money out of your pockets.

Look at my links in my sig. The only way for this idea to work, I need smashers like you to support the idea. That is the only this idea will work.
Hey, I wasn't saying that. BTW I checked emailpaysu and it's not a bad idea, but meh, I'm too lazy to even delete the 1000+ messages I have in my Yahoo! email account. Still, it's excellent.

Returning to other subjects, well...

I'm back and I'm not back. Came to terms with personal matters but even with Christmas vacation I still might not have the time to come as often as possible *am busy conning teachers and stuff lol j/k*, but I might drop in from time to time. Anyways, Dojima, I read what happened at Ponce. Don't let that guy get to you and take it easy. Somewhere out there... There are better opponents... Such as ME, *****. ME. LOL, just joking your head off.

Pope I always have my status set to invisible so you’ll never really be able to tell when I’m on or not, lol. **** you live so close to me I swear you’re the closest smasher to my house. You only live like 5 minutes away or something like that. I’ll send you a PM with directions. Just PM back and let me know when you’ll be able to drop by my house.

Haha man what a coincidence.

Anyway, once I get some training versus (finally) a good smasher, I might have the courage to enter the next big *** tourney. I'll bring my ICs with me.

Holy **** you play ICs? GOOOOOODD stuff man. When you come down here I need to give you some extensive IC training so you can learn the way of the advanced climbers and then be able to take names by yourself. I’ll help you get started on the path of IC dominance, lol. It’ll take a while but hey you live so close so we might be able to do this pretty often.

WOW! Pope you're the 1st smasher I know that uses the IC's as their main.

Most of the people I know, use them just to fool around lol. (including myself)

Good, good. Looking forward to playing any of you soon!

BTW Pope, you're the first person in a while I've seen that plays Ice Climbers seriously. I don't know how you do it, only skilled players can use them with expertise...

I really didn't think it was that rare of an ocurrence, to see someone with the Ice Climbers as their main. For me, I saw some Chu videos a long time ago and realized how good they could be, but I found it too hard to use them effectively and stayed with Falco for the time. Then about 4 months ago I started using them again and this time I felt (almost) completely in control. I liked the feeling so I stuck with them and improved a lot. At least I think I have. They've got top tier potential in my opinion, they leave nearly all of the overused characters in this game without many options, save for Peach. Plus, the wield hammers mangz, ****ing hammers!

Nice. The same thing happened to me with Pikachu. I was using Marth rather indiscriminately until I started to play with Pikachu out of boredom. Eventually, I was all PIKA PIKA whenever I knocked someone out. He's more agile than Pichu and he's just too cool, LOL.

Also the Foxes. They too can easily **** your nana. A Shine can send Popo and Nana to the exact oposite ends of the stage since they got no friction at all. Then nana is just an easy running target for Fox's smash.

IC also have one of the greatest wavedash in the game. Seems like those spikes on their feet are made of plastic. A good wavedash control can mean a painful IC. And for nana...she can pull out some awesome glitches :chuckle:

BTW i've never seen a person with IC as their main character. '¬_¬

Because we have to make sure it’s understandable for most of the other smashers that might want to come to PR sometime for a tournament. And most of us know and speak both languages anyway so we might as well keep it the same language as the majority of people on the forums. Not like we have to prove to each other or others here that we can. And from the looks of it, it seems most people just prefer speaking English. I know some dudes that don’t speak English as fluently and they do have a noticable accent, yet they still talk English the majority of the time. I guess it just depends on the person, so maybe other people have their reasons for not speaking much Spanish online.

We all know that WIPE$$$ *funny name by the way* but we do it for the sake of accesibility. I'll jump into Spanish for a moment:

Lo hacemos para hacerlo mas facil para las personas, y ademas alrededor del 80% de las personas que conozco que juegan este juego saben Ingles, asi que la mayoria gana. Pero si alguien no sabe Ingles le damos una mano como siempre. Lo que pasa es que este foro se supone que sea en Ingles, por eso hablamos en ese idioma.

That aside, if you need help or anything regarding languages or anything let us know. *Si necesitas ayuda por cuestion de idiomas o algo asi dejanos saber.*

Hello there: I've been informed that there will be a multiple game tourney at Dec. 17 at mayaguez. Until now its Soul Calibur 3 and SFIII Third Strike but I've been talking with the organizers (Felix aka Goddess and Michael aka Seshomaru from Soul Calibur fame) and they said that they are willing to host a Smash tournament if they can confirm that a good number of participants will go. So please post if you think you'll be able to go. This is a big tournament to be hosted at Mayaguez Resort and Casino, sponsored by big companies (this is the PR SC3 qualifier) so we might be able to make a good impact if we all go to participate. Please post as soon as you can.

Hmmm...

Might as well think about it. I mean, it's vacation we're talking about here. I'll talk to some friends of mine, and if someone can go there with me and other fellas, I'm in.

Nope. I think this is going to be the last one this year and its going to be 17.

Anyways Im going for sure if the tournament is held. Hope some more people can go also so we can show that smash is not a childish game and need skills to play it, not a button mashing as some says.

I'm in, and I think it's important that we get the most people possible to show and make an inpact as a smash community to the sponsors and maybe they will show some interest.

If I get a ride I'll go but.... I live in Bayamon and I don't have a car yet so I'm not sure 'cause mayaguez it's far away from me. (even though I live in "el carajo" lol!)

But I will love to go there and kick "S" and probably get a couple of kix myself. lol!

Welcome WIPE$$$ I'm looking foward to meet you.

Wolf; I didn't knew you used Pikachu as your main(I mostly see Puffs).

Now that you mention that me and La Diputacion Provincial ( official crew name) will show the owners of Stop n' Play and all the scrubs the East has some advanced gameplay. Even some random people from my school asked me if I was going. Maybe this is the biggest event here on the East for now.
