sounds like you need a sniper type weapon. when you reach level 17, there's one I think you'll love. it's basically a zair with a scope.

definitely. teaches you alot of tactics and tricks that will carry over to online battles.

Dynamo roller is the goat. makes you slow as hell, but when you throw ink,it's almost like inkstrike.

rollers can be amazing with the right setup. for me I have: Kraken Roller/jump point(makes a beacon you can teleport to)/Kraken special(invincible and OHKOs) abilities: swift swim(faster when in ink) inkling speed up(faster when humanoid) Attack up 2x(basically OHKO even with midrange attack)...

Melee is still big in houston. brawl... not sure. probably somewhere in centerville.
