2. you can exchange a super sea snail(special events) with Spyke for either extra slots on your Gear or a reroll for all Gear Abilities on a select piece of Gear if it already has 3 ability slots. Once you are level 20, Spyke can provide his services for a super sea snail, or 30,000 dollars

RunCT, do I miss something if I don't start playing now? Like, is there a daily event or limited time stuff? I hate missing stuff just because I didn't start the game on day 1.

So a snail adds slots to gear. Is the ONLY way to get snails is by participating in events? If so, then I must shell out 30k to get a slot any time I want?

After a bit of outcry from others on Reddit and Facebook, CEO decided to allow default Miis to be legal at their tournament.

Guess I'm going?

If anyone's interested, let me know. Looking to buy my tickets in the next day or two. Plane tickets are still a little over $300 right now, and it looks like there's still rooms left at a hotel that's apparently across from the street of CEO's venue.

Hey guys I just got splatoon today. Is single player worth doing or should I just dive into multiplayer?

Single player is 4-6 hours and your stuff carries over. Why not?

Edit: you also unlock samurai armor from single player I believe.

Reached level 10 and the grenade launcher weapon sucks :( and of course it's my fav weapon ;(

It seems like the SUPER fast weapons and the roller+squid stupid good.

sounds like you need a sniper type weapon. when you reach level 17, there's one I think you'll love. it's basically a zair with a scope.
