I never liked Torchic much. Blaziken, while not a bad starter at all, was always my least favorite of the three Hoenn starters; the other two stand out as some of my all-time favorites.

I recently got all three base-set final form startee cards for free. The only disappointment is that none of them are first edition.

To the second one- Yep. It's impossible to know *for sure* until level 100. You have to estimate; or in games where it's possible, do an IV battle. :phone:

Don't exist. I really don't give a **** about gender unless I'm playing G/S/C, where males have the better IVs. If I'm playing a simulator for a more current game I'll balance it out evenly/slightly in favor towards females, just to make sure I don't get taken out by Attract.
