This is an awful comparison. Picking up Diddy in Sm4sh is nothing like picking up sheik in melee. Sheik actually takes some skill to do anything competitive with, not saying Diddy does not, just saying that this is not a good comparison.

So if I were to go all in as a Sheik main, what tech skills would require my most immediate attention to put myself in a better position to play competitively? Is the Perfect Pivot just the same as Pivot grabbing/fsmashing in melee? Can you even JC grab in Sm4sh?

So I just picked up a Wii U to try out Smash 4. I mained Marth in Melee, and the Marth in Sm4sh feels way to heavy and slow. What is the most Melee-like character in Sm4sh and what are some of the general tech skills for that character I need to pick up to be successful in this game?

Not completely on topic but I always thought it would be cool if like a kirby player completely changed the game. Like learned that if you SHFFL kirbys bair just right you can put out hella knock back or something. Thats just an example but it would be crazy to see.
