I think nair beats most of sonic's side b animation, aside from the beginning portion. If approaching from the air and trying to nair his side b, I'm pretty sure he can just wait for you to be right in front of him before releasing the side b.

I don't know if this has already been found or discussed, but setting c stick to grab makes Dedede's standing chain grab much easier. With z/x(when I tried it, though it worked better than z did) I usually hold it too long when buffering a grab and I end up shielding, but because c stick only...

The stale bair trips him so the nair should be guaranteed, the pummel may not work, but without it it still does close to 40%. :phone:

VS. Metaknight, with him at 0% and a couple staled bairs you can bair-> nair -> turnaround grab ->(pummel) bthrow for 40%.

When using up-b you can move in one direction before he does the "jump," and change the direction with the jump. This way if you're under the ledge, instead of just using up b away from the ledge to grab the it, you can end up on the stage.

I've also had questions about how the game decides how many footstools you can do before hitting the ground. I tried different things with the height of each jump and the timing but I couldn't figure anything out since the results were always different.

Thanks. If MK mashes out of Dedede's Inhale and dairs, but you sheild, are you able to jump out of shield and hit him with a Bair in time, or will MK dodge it? Also, if some of Dedede's Bair is stale, I think after using it a couple times, and MK is at 0%, you can Bair - Nair turn around grab...

You can PS snake's dsmash, and even though it doesn't really help, you can dthrow, dtilt snake anywhere.

I think he just b reversed side b and the video quality and lighting made it look like down smash.
