ZSS Bug?

So I was practicing my ZSS when this happened. I tried replicating it but it doesn't work. Is this a bug? (Sorry if I shouldn't be posting here).

Edit: Apparently, you can do this at the bottom of the stage, but I can't seem to do it again with the ledge.

Down special jumps off of walls maybe you were just below the ledge where the game registered it as a wall.

This was in Brawl.
If you flip-jump on a wall, you'll bounce off.
It doesn't happen if you snap to the ledge though.

This is actually a troll tech where you recover low and flip jump wall jump onto people trying to edge guard you laughing afterwords, because you have your double jump to boost kick back to the ledge.
