Zeus’s Virginia Beach Tournament
Introduction:
This tournament will take place at the Hi Score Gaming center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend. Bring friends, play matches and have fun in the competitive world of Brawl. Friendly matches can be played before the start of the tournament. There will be two available categories to enter: singles and doubles. The tournament will take place in July or August of 2009.
Location:
The location is a place called Hi Score Gaming . Hi Score Gaming will provide multiple Wii Consoles, but it would be in your best interest to bring your own SD Card and Controller. Singles:
Rules:
Stock: 3
Sets: All matches except for finals will be 2/3. All finals will be 3/5.
Time: 8:00
Stages: Please refer to the Stage Legality Thread
Stage Selection: The first match will be played on a random neutral stage. The rest will be the loser’s pick.
Bans and Miscellaneous Rules: No characters are banned. Metaknight’s Infinite Dimensional Cape Glitch is banned. No stalling is allowed. Suicide move-caused sudden deaths will go to the player who committed suicide. If the timer runs out, the player with the most stock wins; if the stocks are equal when the time runs out, the player with the lowest damage percent wins; if the stocks and damage percent are equal when the time runs out, a single stock match will be played on the same stage using the same characters and a two minute timer.

With P being the number of people attending: 5P=Money divided by the top four places [example: if 50 people attend then 250=Money divided by the top four places]

If the timer runs out, the team with the most combined stock wins; if the stocks are equal when the time runs out, the team with the lowest combined damage percent wins; if the stocks and damage percents are equal when the time runs out, a single stock match will be played on the same stage using the same characters and a three minute timer. Team Attack will be set to “on.” Stock-stealing is allowed.
