Yeah, it was almost enough beauty to make me return. But the game is never really going to change in terms of how we can interact with other players. So it's just same ol' same ol'. Gimme some silly matching games vs other players. Or dumb Cooking Mama/WarioW minigames.Lil Puddin , I know you said you said that FEH doesn't interest you much anymore, but did you see Oliver's new tome? They know he's a meme, so they gave him a meme tome and it works magnificently as meme-y as it is. If anything, it has the best tome animation in the game.
SmUsh players are just pretending to play SmUsh, tho. Zelda is too OP that she ruins the game for everyone else.Oh yeah, some people play Smash here.
Currently at a relatives. Being stalked by a festive yet demonic babby gorl. She's nasty-slobbering all over my new purple Adidas pants every chance she gets aaaaaa.Merry Christmas Zelda Social! How are you today?
A Chocobo would be cool too. They're fluffy and stuff.Glad to see that most of my FF friends have the same feeling that I did. We have 14 other mainline games, could we acknowledge one of them instead of focusing more on 7 pls. Or Bravely, I think I've made it obvious that a Bravely character is one of my most wanted additions (even though I'm not expecting to see it). Although Sephi is still very cool and I'm glad to see him, it's just a personal preference.
Ritual of the Night is still on sale until January 4 or something at least on GoG and Steam. Not sure about consoles, but probably. Curse of the Moon 1 and 2, the 2D, pixel Bloodstained games are on sale as well if you want something closer to the older Castlevanias. There is a randomizer mode and a classic mode, so playing it like one of the older Castlevania games, is planned for a future update. Might be January. "Chaos Mode"? Wonder what that is: https://playbloodstained.com/nov2020roadmap/.Ooo yeah I've been looking into getting this game recently. I've played through every Metroid game (excluding the original 2 because I just played their remakes, but w.e. that's still basically every game), but I haven't played a single Metroidvania outside of the Metroid series. Should probably change that.
Also I think I remember hearing that they added a randomizer mode? That alone is an instant sell for me.
At least he's not Br4wl's Bayonetta. You know. This lady:I just want to express my gratitude to all the people who play Sonic online. The smash community loves you so very much.
I did end up snagging Bloodstained for Christmas and ooooooooo it's really good. Right now I'm right before the final boss, but I'm running around and doing anything I might've missed. A good portion of what I like is finding all of these fun optional things by myself without the game guiding me to them, or by looking it up online.Ritual of the Night is still on sale until January 4 or something at least on GoG and Steam. I also picked up the first Ori game! Although the disc was broken despite being brand new, so I sent it back. The replacement should be here in a few days. I should be finished with my first Bloodstained run by then, so it'll time up perfectly!Dust: An Elysian Tail, Guacamelee! 1 and 2, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Shadow Complex I have heard good things about. Ori has a sequel as well, Ori and the Will of the Wisps that was released early this year. I think Momodora and Minoria are Metroidvanias. If anything, they have great music. Shantae I think might count as a Metroidvania. The later ones at least, so Half-Genie Hero and the Seven Sirens.
I pulled an all-nighter because people are usually extra heauxes in the city. There have fireworks, pot banging, etc going on for a good 30 minutes after the clock strikes 12:00. Going to bed early is a way to not start off the new year right here lmao.Okay, my all-nighter was a complete failure.
But yeah, it'll probably be at least somewhat better than 2020. We'll just have to wait and see how much.
Speaking of Phantasy Star, have you played Phantasy Star Universe? I rented that game once or maybe twice. It was fun, but I didn't get that far into the story and barely touched online which, well, PS2 online.Aaaaaaaay, PSO2 is legit good, gorls.
Nice. That's great that you're having fun with it. I remembered after my previous post of another Metroidvania. Well, it's considered one: Iconoclasts. That game has a fantastic soundtrack that is on YouTube by the developer who is also the composer of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK9BYVfRzMw.I did end up snagging Bloodstained for Christmas and ooooooooo it's really good.
Maybe you already got to it, but I figure it would be like Metroid where the powers or upgrades you get are the key items or things you need to progress. For example, the Morph Ball is essential to getting to a lot different places, but since you get it so early on in the Metroid games, you don't think it's that important until you play a randomizer and realize it after running around and not having it.And I have not tried the randomizer mode yet, but I'm curious how that will work since this game doesn't exactly have key items to collect? I guess I'll find out eventually
I never touched a single PSO game. Maybe that's why I was overwhelmed by the way they handle advancement, Mag building, etc.Speaking of Phantasy Star, have you played Phantasy Star Universe? I'm glad DFO is getting a spin-off sister game. Neople are such gems and they really put so much love into their game. It's a love letter to classic beat-em-up arcade games and it gets packed with more love every year it continues to exist. So now it finally went full circle and found its way into a classic 2D fighter? Yeeeeboi. As for another MMO or F2P game, did you see the announcement for Dungeon & Fighter Duel? Arc System Works is co-developing of course since they are the only fighting game developer who does and know how to do a very close to anime aesthetic using 3D models for fighting games. Dungeon Fighter Online getting a fighting game. That's neat.
Coming back to this way too late, but that's the problem, the game doesn't really have items you collect to progress. The only 2 required items that I can think of are the Aegis Plate and a weapon you get using the Aegis Plate, but randomizing the locations of 2 items across the hundreds of different locations for other optional items sounds ehhhhhhhhhhh........ Most of your abilities come from shards, but I'm not entirely sure how randomizing those would work? idk it's complicated. I'll get to it eventually though.Maybe you already got to it, but I figure it would be like Metroid where the powers or upgrades you get are the key items or things you need to progress. Your taste is perfe- Wait a minute.
I like to vote for 7 different characters instead of dedicating my ballot to only one or two, so that’s why Marianne’s the only one I voted for more than once (since she actually has a shot at winning); that last vote was originally for Laurent. Mitama is my #1 favorite gorl so I will not tolerate any slander against my support for ha. I’m fine with GK doing well and I want him to beat Chrom, but I’m not wasting my vote on someone who doesn’t even have any actual character traits or development.Your taste is perfe- Wait a minute.
You didn't vote for Gate Keeper once.
And you only voted for Mitama once.
Oh wait, I just noticed Jesse has a very subtle :3 smile.
So I guess showing Jesse offsets your sins.
tbf I didn't login or vote at all anyway. If I did, I would've gone with the Gate Keeper meme since he is kinda adorable. If a person we barely care about like Jeorge gets in, the guy we talk to 14+ times and has voiced lines deserves to get a canon appearance/non-generic. Just make him the hunkiest looking dude around for extra $$$.I like to vote for 7 different characters instead of dedicating my ballot to only one or two, so that’s why Marianne’s the only one I voted for more than once (since she actually has a shot at winning); that last vote was originally for Laurent. Tbh I was a lil salty when I wrote that original post, but I like GK a lot more than Chrom and Marth so his massive 1st place finish is cool in my book. Plus my gorl Marianne got first place, which means she’ll get a prf skill just like the legend GK will. I’ve seen the elitist part of the FE fanbase is angry about the CYL results, but this is best case scenario imo. CYLs just being lord spam is literally the most boring scenario and idk why people want alts for these characters that will get them regardless of winning/doing well. I promised myself that I’d save up and +10 Marianne if she got Top 2, so now ig I gotta follow through. I already know I’m gonna wanna pull for GK too tbh.tbf I didn't login or vote at all anyway. I don't care about FEH itself, but the FE universe is still top tier for me. I still have the FEH Reddit for artwork and new character releases/their official artwork/voicelines. Getting to see updates is neat too, because numbers and balance changes are fun!!! Kind of.Tbh I was a lil salty when I wrote that original post, but I like GK a lot more than Chrom and Marth so his massive 1st place finish is cool in my book. Not gonna comment on everything, but this was the best FEH channel we’ve had in a while. Legendary skill refines + kit updates are very welcome, even if it’s just another way to try to sell these otherwise undesirable legendaries. The My Summoner feature seems interesting, though only being usable as a unit in new Mjölnir’s is kinda lame. Ik u don’t play anymore so u can really just ignore this tbh.

I voted for Eirika. As I have with every vote for every CYL since the 30 day long first one.CYLs just being lord spam is literally the most boring scenario and idk why people want alts for these characters that will get them regardless of winning/doing well.
I only played Phantasy Star Universe, so I can't say much for the other ones. I do remember watching a bit of a playthrough of Universe later on and realizing either I did not pay attention or didn't know about some things. Was it skills or weapons that you had to use in order to get stronger? I only bought new weapons as stronger ones were available and ended up struggling, especially at a certain point in this mountain, canyon, mines place. Except for the twin daggers, weapons were like okay, but I didn't really use skills or whatever. The joys of not understanding RPGs back in the day.I never touched a single PSO game. Maybe that's why I was overwhelmed by the way they handle advancement, Mag building, etc.
But they're space dramas! Really, though, I'm okay with Star Wars and never watched Star Trek. Regarding Star Wars, I heard The Mandalorian was really good and the animates series of The Clone Wars has always been great. I only watched some of the 2003 series which was Star Wars in the style of Samurai Jack and only saw snippets of the 2008 series.Really, any sci-fi type of game that's NOT straight up Star Trek/Star Wars nonsense lmao.
I get that. I guess you could say that Bloodstained is a soft randomizer game? That is, there aren't a lot of required items, skills, or whatever. Something like Ocarina of Time would be a hard randomizer where you need items to progress much less go to certain areas.Coming back to this way too late, but that's the problem, the game doesn't really have items you collect to progress. The only thing I know about Hades is that everyone is hot. Which I guess makes sense because Gods/Celestials/Etc are supposed to be the hottest of the hot.. Despite early IRL depictions showing them as eldritch abominations with sick abs or bountiful bosoms. So they'd still be hot. But mostly to furries.ATTENTION GORLS:
Hades is an amazing game and has consumed my life.
Hypnos no bulli, kthnxbye.
I found out Persona 5 stuff is in PSO2. I think anything on Steam is fair game for PSO2 from the looks of it, which is an absolute delight. Either way, I am far too poor to afford any of it because it's too popular. I just want Persona 5 music playing in my pretty house. I want that himbo trench coat and mask. Pls donate kthnx.Persona 5 event is going on in Dragalia Lost.
Persona 5 still isn't on the switch.
Why, tho?
Apparently the only thing to transfer over from PSO1 to PSO2 were the class weapons and descriptions. That just means I didn't miss out on anything and everyone new to PSO2 is just as confused as I am about crafting/orders/auxillaries/etc.I only played Phantasy Star Universe, so I can't say much for the other ones. I do remember watching a bit of a playthrough of Universe later on and realizing either I did not pay attention or didn't know about some things. Gust Games take themselves less seriously than standard JRPGs, so I guess they're more like Anime RPGs? I gotta say they were all fun games to run through a few times. They didn't overstay their welcome each run through. Lower budget games, as seen by their graphics. Which is offset by decent soundtracks, decent voice acting, crafting systems, and character portraits. played 1 and 2 of each Gust Game below and Atelier Iris III. I played Atelier Annie and it was dreadfully boring. I don't know if newer Gust Games are as enjoyable though.Atelier Ryza I'd like to try one day too. Maybe the other Atelier games and Rune Factory as well.
It still baffles me that we haven't even got 50% of the Fire Emblem roster after the game has been out for 4+ years now. That's just another reason why I quit. Like. Damn heaux. Release all the characters first. Then sprinkle Alts that powercreep old versions... Y'know, like a responsible and good money-grubbing Gacha would! GeeeeeezAs for FEH, I missed two days of voting, but that doesn't matter since I only vote for irrelevant characters... Ismaire and Orochi when? Can Cherche and Sonya have alts? At least Constance and the rest of the Ashen Wolves will eventually get in soon since they're Three Houses characters.
Honestly I don't care at all about the PvP modes and just do the absolute bare minimum to get rewards. There are too many stupidly powerful units that require specific counters for me to actually invest in Arena/whatever else. I don't hate AR, and it's fun to see my units get huge stats with the mythic buffs, but the annoying defense teams you face when you start climbing are an instant nope for me. At this point, I just like to play with my favorite units and hope IS will add my other faves soon. I don't totally hate the steampunk aesthetic, but it's definitely my least favorite so far. However I know a lot of people hated last book's setting while I really liked it, so I'm probably in the minority. Reddit seems to really like the new OCs, even tho idc about them really.I wish I could stay with FEH, but the sudden departure into Steampunk-Fantasy-Medieval was just too much for me. I didn't sign up for that lmao. Steampunk is my absolute least favorite aesthetic. Then there's the weekly things which are mostly tedious and PvP based. So it's an easy Triple-NO from me at this point, sis.
My free 5* was a +HP -def Spring Fir. I don't like the bunny outfits nor do I really care about Fir, but her prf is pretty busted so I'll use her in AA or w/e. I wanted to choose colorless, but my circle was 3 green and 2 blues. ofc Xane was the "dud," but pulling him would've saved me orbs from when he's rerun on an eventual Double Special Heroes banner. Infantry Hexblade isn't the worst fodder either if you really don't want to use him. +HP is his best boon too. It's so lame they still won't even let us choose which color we want to pull on these random banners, though, or even (gasp!) being able to directly choose which unit we want.My 5* free summon was....a +HP Zane.
After the last one got me Summer Leo, I really shouldn't be surprised anymore.
The Legendary skill refines are surprising but...probably welcome? Like, Fjorm has been in the game for a long time and I'm happy that they're buffing her signature skill (Ice Mirror) instead of her weapon. At the same time though, ATK/DEF Unity is such a premium skill that might actually be more significant than as fodder than as a +1 to your free five star Fjorm by completing Chapter 1 of Book II. One thing they didn't add that I was hoping for were Duel Effects like the "newer" Legendary heroes have. If Fjorm had a "Treat character's base BST as 185" like Legendary Corrin has? She'd been on every water Arena team.
I'm hoping the Legendary skill refines end up closer to being OP than merely complimentary. L!Grima and L!Lyn especially need so much work to be good in the current game landscape given how underwhelming they were when they came out.
Yeah, this is a big problem I have too. I’ve been waiting 4 years for certain characters to be added, and it’s painfully obvious that someone like Percy who only got 70 votes in CYL5 isn’t going to be included in FEH anytime soon. However I’m not a fan of a lot of the popular lords and characters, so ig IS doesn’t really care that much about catering to people like me.it still baffles me that we haven't even got 50% of the Fire Emblem roster after the game has been out for 4+ years now. tbf it's a P5S collab which is on the Switch. It counts.Persona 5 event is going on in Dragalia Lost.
Persona 5 still isn't on the switch.
Why, tho?
Lighthearted games are nice every now and again. We don't need super serious, brown and grey games all the damn time. On the other end, really depressing, messed up games are fun too. The morbid curiosity of wanting to see more and more of how a world fell that bad or why everything is so damn terrible is what drives games like Bloodborne, Demon's/Dark Souls, Drakengard, and Nier. Anyway, that sounds like a good series to kick back and relax with.Gust Games take themselves less seriously than standard JRPGs, so I guess they're more like Anime RPGs? I gotta say they were all fun games to run through a few times. They didn't overstay their welcome each run through. Lower budget games, as seen by their graphics. Rune Factory game up because I remember reading something about how weird the game can be. I do have and played Stardew Valley. It's been a few years since I last played it and there are so many updates. Part of me doesn't want to play because I want to try the new things, but don't want to start all over again... Why are farming games so stressful?NotGust!Rune Factory - it was OK. Just another Harvest Moon but you have monsters to slap around. Has some issues where it's possible to get trapped for an entire season depending on the game. The polish is clearly lacking in the earlier games. You might be better off with Stardew Valley. They contain similar elements, right down to nabbing one of the townsfolk to smooch-up. Except Stardew's town actually shifts over-time if you get socially involved with the townfolk.

To be fair, there are a lot of characters in Fire Emblem, but even then, some other games handle it better. Was it the Tale series? I think so where I read that despite there being many characters in the series, its gacha game not only introduced them well, but also incorporated them well into the story.Yeah, this is a big problem I have too. I’ve been waiting 4 years for certain characters to be added, and it’s painfully obvious that someone like Percy who only got 70 votes in CYL5 isn’t going to be included in FEH anytime soon. The weird thing about the 4* special rate thing is that they didn't do this to the older legendary heroes and seasonal units. We have enough of seasonal units for certain seasons they could do that or straight up even demote all of the old ones and have them be 4* seasonal units you can summon on any seasonal banner as odd as it would be to summon summer units in the winter and Halloween units in spring, but whatever. No Duel Effect doesn't really surprise me because ofc they want you to pull for the new legendaries, instead of these old ones that have been on tons of 8% banners and are now banished to their own 6% banners, meaning players are more likely to have and/or get them at high merges. Though I agree it would’ve been nice if they gave them like a 180 BST duel effect since it’d still be worse than modern legends/duos.
Savior skills are stupid to play with. For better or for worse, they're locked to armors and guess which unit is an armor unit who has warp and movement shenanigans? CYL Edelgard.New Savior skills are v dumb, and also cost 300 SP because lol. Got a 4* V!Alfonse (+atk -def) from that banner’s tickets, and my first Shamir (+spd -atk) from the Hero Fest. Also got my first 4* special or w/e it’s called on the hero fest when I got a 4* that “turned into” a random Linde while trying for the boyfriend duo.
Hi! It's been a while haha. I haven't played Smash in a longgggg time. I'm doing okay myself, how are you keeping?Hello gorls ~
I'm not sure if any of you who are active now were around before, but this is Gay Ginger / Ginger Gaymer. (I had to make a new account because the email I used with my last one doesn't exist anymore so I couldn't recover my password lmao). Anyway, thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing. Today is the first time I've played Smash in at least 2 years...
I'm doing alright, all things considered. I work in a school, so I'm just trying to ride out this horrible school year lol.Hi! It's been a while haha. I haven't played Smash in a longgggg time. I'm doing okay myself, how are you keeping?
Welcome back, kween. I think most of us rarely play SmUsh at this point lol. Online is the only thing that makes the game worth playing after completing all the in game content. Except Online is doodie and costs money. And Covid19 says no IRL playing allowed.Hello gorls ~

I've been using The Fliff as my tag on Xbox and Switch for a couple years now. It was spawned from a weird inside joke with a few friends, and I've just run with it ever since.Anyway! Why did you pick a totally different name?
This is unfortunate, but I can hardly blame anyone since I stopped playing until recently. Online play, especially Quickplay, is really frustrating, but it is a welcome distraction from covid right now, haha. I wish the boards here weren't such a ghost town. I miss the Sm4sh days back in 2014/2015 when this place was lively and jamming...I think most of us rarely play SmUsh at this point lol. Online is the only thing that makes the game worth playing after completing all the in game content. Except Online is doodie and costs money. And Covid19 says no IRL playing allowed.
It seemed like a good direct, even though there isn't a ton of things that I'm interested in personally. It's more that as I get older, I have less time to play, and less interest in, video games than I used to more so than the quality of the content they showed.So. Nintendo Direct overall thoughts everyone?
Hey, I know the feeling! Although I joined the Smash 4 social in 2016, being a bit late to the party, I still had a lot of fun talking here and conversing with you all (I remember having some....... questionable opinions, but I promise I'm not like that anymore at least.) I think the Zelda social declined near the end of the Smash 4 social, I don't really remember this one being all that active at any point. Honestly visiting this place sometimes feels like reanimating a dead corpse because it's just not even close to as lively as it once was. I really enjoyed 2016-2018 here for what it's worth, commenting on the directs, posting the results of the tourney majors, and of course the Shakira posting.I miss the Sm4sh days back in 2014/2015 when this place was lively and jamming...
Okay fineee, I'll cut my messages down a bit. grl. It's 3 characters instead of 4. That's shorter.
Ooo wait, would you mind friending each other on Xbox? (I'm still using my PuffleKirby21 tag over there. I should change it, but the mess of referencing a Nintendo and PC series, with an avatar showcasing a PS character on an Xbox account is too chaotic to give up). And welcome back, it's nice to see you again!I've been using The Fliff as my tag on Xbox and Switch for a couple years now. It was spawned from a weird inside joke with a few friends, and I've just run with it ever since.
Quick edit but WEC is nothing like DR. It's made by the same guy, but this isn't a killing game. Pretty sure the entire reason Kodaka left Spike to start his own company was to get away from writing those types of games I haven't looked into it much since spoilers are probably everywhere if I do try to look something up, but all I know is that it's different from DR and ZE.World's End Club: Dangaronpa Fans will be enjoying this. I've only played Zero Escape, but I've enjoyed my time with it. I dunno if I'll get this or not.
But SS is the better game. This is an upgrade.Shame there's no BotW2 info, but alas, we can wait.
That's how my name was chosen too. I was drinking with friends and we got on to the subject of making rap names using a prefix followed by something using the 1st letter of our names. Lil P by itself was awful but moments later Lil Puddin was born and I made a GFAQs account shortly after that using Lil Puddin. Bonus points being that a few months later a very similar thing was done in Pokemon X/Y with the NPC-friends asked for a name in the same way using Lil/Big and the 1st initial. So Lil Puddin just became my name for everything from 2013 and onward.I've been using The Fliff as my tag on Xbox and Switch for a couple years now. It was spawned from a weird inside joke with a few friends, and I've just run with it ever since.
tbh Covid probably has a lot of gorls working some side-hustles to make ends meet. That means there's less time for sheet-posting. We also have to be doing something to have something to talk about, but Covid says we're not allowed to do stuff... So... Oops. Dead Air.This is unfortunate, but I can hardly blame anyone since I stopped playing until recently. Online play, especially Quickplay, is really frustrating, but it is a welcome distraction from covid right now, haha. I wish the boards here weren't such a ghost town. Smash: Pyra/Mythra is a big win. Surprisingly good choice. The previous choices were just meh.So. Nintendo Direct overall thoughts everyone?
Guess I can start off with mine.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I WANTED PYRA AND MYTHRA IN SMASH, AND NOW IT'S HAPPENED! AAAAAAAAAAAA! This might get me back to playing Smash, and I'm so happy right now!
Fall Guys: Ehhhh. I'll pass on it, but I'm sure many are happy with it coming to Switch.
Outer Wilds: Seems neat. I'll probably not play it.
Famicom Detective Club: This is actually pretty cool. I remember the Trophy in Melee describing one of the main characters in Famicom Detective Club, so this is pretty cool. I dunno if I'll pick it up, but again, pretty damn cool.
Samurai Warriors 5: I legit thought this was going to be Sengoku Basara until the characters appeared. Heh.
Legend of Mana: Cool to see a PS1 Action RPG get the HD treatment. Seems like Square is going through their entire back catalog of games they released back on the PS1 and SNES and giving them all re-releases. I'm down with this.
Monster Hunter Rise: Still gonna get it. Not gonna stop me. I'm still gonna buy it.
Mario Golf: Super Rush: This looks like it'll be some silly fun. I've never played the Mario Golf games, only Tennis on the 3DS and the demo of Aces on the Switch. Speed Golf looks hilarious on how you can probably disrupt others from playing.
No More Heroes III: Yes. Oh god, yes! Give it to me! I need this.Tales from the Borderlands: Eh. Not too interested in this. Pass.
CAPCOM Arcade Stadium: Pretty cool that you can get over 30 of their Arcade Classics on the Switch. But I dunno if I'll be fully invested in it.
Stubbs the Zombie: Uhhhh, what?
Neon White: I feel like this game will be one hell of a Speedrunner's Game. It just oozes it tbh.
DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power: Huh. Pass.
Plants vs. Zombies: Never been interested in this title at all, so I'll be skipping on it. Plus, it's Electronic Arts, what do you expect from them? :V
Miitopia: Heh heh heh. This little niche title is coming back, that is pretty cute but also pretty funny.
Animal Crossing New Horizons: I feel bad for stopping with this, I stopped playing around the Summer, so again, not pleased with that at all. But hey, the Mario Items look great.
Project Triangle Strategy: This title is giving me Final Fantasy Tactics vibes, and I'm not complaining. I've only played FF12 Tactics, and I thought it was fine.
Star Wars HUNTERS: ...No thanks.
Knockout City: ...No thanks.
World's End Club: Dangaronpa Fans will be enjoying this. I've only played Zero Escape, but I've enjoyed my time with it. I dunno if I'll get this or not.
HADES: Now this is a kickass game, I still need to play this.
Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection: Nice that they put in the beloved duology of the series. Wait... There's three? Nononono, there's only two I think. Sigma 1 and 2. There's no 3. Kappa.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity: Nice it's getting an Expansion Pass, still need to play that game even though I own it physically.
Skyward Sword HD: I never did get far in the Wii original, but I'm glad it's coming to Switch, and with controller support and not only motion controls. Shame there's no BotW2 info, but alas, we can wait.Bravely Default 2: I could not get into the Demo of this game, so I'm skipping on this one. I'm happy that others will be looking forward to this, but as someone who likes JRPGs, this is not my cup of tea. I think it must be the art style.
Ghosts n' Goblins Resurrection: This does look neat, it makes me wonder what other CAPCOM classics we'll see return... Hopefully Breath of Fire.
SaGa Frontier Remastered: I have never played this before, so I might end up giving it a shot, it looks cool.
Apex Legends: The only thing I remember about this is some members of Nijisanji and Hololive playing this. That's it.
Splatoon 3: ...What. I legit thought this was another update for Splatoon 2, but a 3rd one!? God damn, good on Nintendo for keeping the train rolling for Splatoon. The atmosphere looks nice and I do like the new surrounding. Looks like Tokyo Tower has gone under.
Overall, the first announcement won it for me, I'm very satisfied with what they showed off. There were some titles I do not care about, and some I am looking forward to. Hoping they live up to the hype.
4 s out of 5.
I think XCX being a WiiU exclusive really hurt Elma's chances. And in terms of gameplay, Elma would just be another Bayonetta with handheld daggers instead of combat stilettoes. So maybe it's for the best she wasn't chosen. That was a really nice direct!! Would've preferred Elma as the next Xeno rep, but Pyra was always more likely. Congrats to the gorls!
Okay fineee, I'll cut my messages down a bit. grl. It's 3 characters instead of 4. That's shorter.
Dynasty Warrior 8 has run smoothly on the Switch when docked. I haven't noticed any lag with everything optimized for performance. I would hope SW5 would work nice enough.SAMURAI WARRIORS 5 HI! I WANT GAME NOW! Also this was another case of Nintendo showing me a great game in a Direct... only for me to turn around and buy it on a different console since there's no way this game will run well on the Switch.
