Still havent' been exposed yet :secretzpop:I say 5min
Is it any good? I don't particularly like them that much, just wondering. I'm more of a Senses Fail kind of guy. I used to like Make Me Famous as well when they were still together. So Bring Me The Horizon's new record just came out here on Spotify...
Welp
I'm like half way through the record on my first listen. Sounds p gud IMO. Quite similar to Sempiternal in it's p poppy but I really enjoyed that record outside two songs at the end that were teenage angst for teenage angst sake yea ^_^Is it any good? Macchi you better not main herI'm getting obsessed with Melanie Martinez someone help me
I main Melanie Martinez gorlsMacchi you better not main her
Ahh, sucks. I like less heavy music for the most part, but still like to have post hardcore elements in there somewhere. Senses Fail had like an Emo Punk vibe with some unclean vocals and some awesome lyric writing (their lyrics have always been really meaningful for the most part), but recently they changed their sound into just more of a normal post hardcore band (I guess?), but they're still good. Their first album with their new sound I really did not care for (neither did I care for the last with their old sound), but their newest one with their new sound that they recently released is such a step up in every way. The only founding member still there (they released their first EP in 2003) is the singer, and hearing his story through every album's lyrics and seeing him grow into who he is today considering who he used to be is so inspirational. That might've sounded a bit cliché, but it's the truth.I'm like half way through the record on my first listen. Sounds p gud IMO. I wish more metalcore bands did more post-rock **** thrown in (I know only one band that did that style but they only released a 4 song EP that ruled then they broke up), BMTH did touch on that in places on that last record but it doesn't look like that **** is in their new **** sadly ;_;
Well what did you THINK it said? I'm an innocent little gorl I swear~I hope that says you go to the luckin' Zelda social
I've never listened to SF before tonight to be completely honest. They seem decent (though the first track off their debut has made me to never touch that record ever lol. The songs from their 2nd record I've heard are p cool tho).Ahh, sucks. I like less heavy music for the most part, but still like to have post hardcore elements in there somewhere. STFU and listen to Converge@ evmaxy54 @ Suicidal_Donuts
It's so frustrating that you're speaking my language but on one of my least favorite genres.
I'm fine with people saying lyrics are meaningful if they have an actual meaning to them, and not trivial things instead. If you say Blood On The Dance Floor has meaningful lyrics, you deserve a punch in the face. Lyrics don't have to be well written to be meaningful either. Like you said, I do agree that you can have some amazingly written lyrics that don't hit you in the feels in any way. I'm trying to think of bands with awful lyrics now hahaha. Can I just mention Friday by Rebecca Black? We so excited.I've never listened to SF before tonight to be completely honest. I also have a huge pet peeve when people describe lyrics as "meaningful". It makes me cringe so hard. As long as the lyrics are well written I don't care too much what they are about.
For example, Converge has some insanely good lyrics which are depressing as all ****ing hell, then you have a band like Direct Hit! who write some really stupid songs about monsters in closets & Satan giving them superpowers but they are really well thought out with a lot of wit to them
Some people could argue I guess that some latter BOTDF lyrically can be described as "meaningful" but that doesn't change the fact that they are p **** lol.I'm fine with people saying lyrics are meaningful if they have an actual meaning to them, and not trivial things instead. And did you mean the first track off of SF's first EP? Yeah, that EP was an obvious first EP (I think they were barely legal adults when recording that) but a couple tracks off of it were pretty good. Their first album though, Let It Enfold You, was also an obvious first album when compared to their second one (their best), Still Searching. It still has some great tracks on it like Buried A Lie (how punny), and The Irony Of Dying On Your Birthday to name a couple. If you're going to listen to them again though, I'd definitely recommend Still Searching over the others. If you want to see what their newer, more heavy sound is like, Renacer or Pull The Thorns From Your Heart are the only two so far. I personally like the latter much better, even if it does sound a lot different in some ways. I really have no idea how to describe their newer sound at all.
@ McKnightlíght So... Do you like Britney Spears?
Hahaha, well, Still Searching as a whole is a great album. I don't think there's a song on it that I'd rather not listen to. There are very albums that I can say that about. Some people could argue I guess that some latter BOTDF lyrically can be described as "meaningful" but that doesn't change the fact that they are p **** lol.
I mean Let It Enfold You. I really didn't like the first song off that at all. Immediately put on Still Searching & that was the best decision I had at 3:30am in a while LMAO
Less typey more ConvergeThere are few things in this world I would turn into a wall of text. (Like theology (doesn't come up much) and my favorite bands.) But nothing could compare to my hatred of Nickelback.
He probably has a "reflect-box" on him right when Cape starts? Falco's Reflector does this too, but it's 1 frame only, so it's not reliable... Then again, Link and Captain Falcon's jabs hit behind them...WAIT MARIO'S CAPE REFLECTS PROJECTILES EVEN IF HE ISNT FACING THE PROJECTILE?????????
I quit. This is just unacceptable. Just no. I can't even. Bye.

I'm impressed at their mix, do they record at home? Here's one of their songs:
Tbh, I just like the instrumentals. They sound cool :^)
For this EP, no. They had a studio to record at and all that jazz. Which is a good thing, because there's no way they're fitting any recording equipment in a room where a drumset takes up almost 1/4 of the space.I'm impressed at their mix, do they record at home?
