Custom Yoshi is whaaaaaaaaaaaat
what are his good customs

Custom Yoshi is pretty underwhelming from what I know, mostly sidegrades.
Lick is fun, can kill and moves him forward, but you lose a command grab.
Egg Launch is better for gimps but easier to break out of.
Light Egg Roll is hilarious but probably not that good (half of what I did against @IsmaR was LER/lick lol)
Heavy Egg Roll hits hard and has heavy (super?) armor but is really easy to see coming because it's sloooooooow.
High Jump loses eggs. No.
Timed Egg Throw probably needs research.
Star Bomb is probably safer but weaker
Crushing Bomb is precision death.

I don't really watch the anime except for gym battles. So Ash uses a Hawlucha vs. a Spritzee that uses Trick Room and Gyro Ball. Hawlucha breaks the Trick Room with X-Scissor...

Only really good battle as of late was vs. Clemont.

It ain't even officially summer yet.

All I know is that playing Ocarina of Time as a kid and going through the bottom of a well, a temple of shadows and getting grabbed by masters of walls and infinite hands has prepared me for that type of stuff.
