Zelda matchup thread

The Zelda boards are currently on the Sheik matchup. Lets see if we can get mains from both characters so we can pin this matchup down as accurate as possible.

Sheik solo?

It's annoying, I guess... the more patient the Zelda player is, the fewer options you have to work with at a time and thus the longer the match will play out, but overall it's pretty much even.

EDIT: By even I mean it's somewhere between 60-40 Zelda and 50-50. There's no way Sheik has the advantage in this because Zelda is floaty and refuses to be gimped, and the ftilt lock ends pretty low here. Not to mention Zelda's dtilt lock still works. What Sheik has on the advantage is speed, and lots of it.

Zelda's got some frustrating power/priority here.... but, once shiek gets inside of zelda... zelda is normally able to be juggled for some substantial damage if the shiek can keep up the pressure.... plus, needles countercamp din's quite effectively and are unlikely to be reflected.


on the other hand... shiek has a hard time sealing the deal.... it might not be tough to take zelda from 0-90.... but after that... shiek can't do too much easily.
