Samus's grapple in the air (zair) is a sweet move, as it is long ranged and has a lot of stun, stopping most non-projectile approaches. Not to mention it auto cancels if you land during it. I was wondering, is TL's air grapple useful in a similar way? As in, is it good enough to justify its use over, say, a fair or projectile to stop approaches?

No. In the air there are about eight other attacks that are better than his grapple. It's nowhere near as good as his projectiles, because when you grapple you control more range at the expense of control, whereas a projectile does not surrender control. Which means you can give your opponent BAIRHUGS if you use a projectile.

Its not as good as Samus'. But he really doesn't need it when he got really good projectiles that comes out pretty fast and awsome moves. He is bordering on being broken cheap.
