• Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?

In melee, I'm still experimenting and learning about who I want to play. I have four major contenders, being Marth, Sheik, Ice climbers, and Yoshi.

I also play Super Smash Flash 2, though for some reason I can never seem to connect online with it, so not nearly as much as Id like. In it, I play Yoshi as my main, though I also play ZSS and Marth, and am learning to play Sheik in it.

• Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?

I have joined Smashboards to try and connect with others that I can play with online over dolphin, or meet up with near Austin, Texas to try and play and train with, and hopefully learn from someone willing to take me under their wing.

• Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?

I want to try and join online and local tournaments, in Austin Texas, or even just get together with people to play. My goal is to try and get competitive at Melee because I have a passion for competitive games, and smash in particular.

• Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.

I am learning to program, and I am starting up my own Commercial building cleaning company

• What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?

I am a fencer, and am currently learning Epee, though I would like to eventually get into Foil fencing too.

Really? Im surprised. I guess there just aren't many people who do it, in general. Its probably the other competitive scene I am in that uses the most of the same skills used in melee, major difference is that I use my whole body instead of just my hands. But spacing, movement control, the same kinds of mind games, the same varying strategies all still apply and are just as important.

Does anyone know of anyone/is anyone here willing to play the MNCB on dolphin online with me? Or better yet, lives in or near austin who wants to play melee? Im looking to find a way to start practicing and learning
