Ahh, a Toyota Tercel; those are really good cars; ultra reliable, and they get awesome gas mileage.

I drive a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300D 2.5 Turbo

It's a really great car; it's not the absolute quickest or anything (since it's a diesel, albeit turbo-charged), but it's car that will go and go and go (it's not uncommon for Mercedes diesels to get 1,000,000 miles out of the engine). Plus, it gets excellent gas mileage on the highway (and it weighs over 2 tons!), at 37 MPG (yay for diesel). It averages about 32 MPG when doing town and highway driving. All in all, I absolutely love the car....I just hate how people automatically assume that you're a rich snot when they see you driving one (come on people, it's a 1991), but most people just don't know about them, so they automatically assume it's 1995-1999 or something...

That's completly true. Maybe is because todays Mercedes look a lot like the ones that are a decade old and also because the makers of the car like the original model so much (and I like it too), is the reason why almost all Mercedes look alike.

Well, it seems everyone ir posting a picture of their car so I'm going to do the same.

anyway, nice car; it reminds me a bit of the early '90s Toyota Camry. What kind of engine does it have, and what kind of gas mileage do you get?

Wow, now thats a good question. Well, I got the car from my stepfather about two weeks ago and I haven't check that out yet. But because the car was bought around the same time it was release, it must have travel quite a loooooong way and because the car is quite old, I'm trying to keep it in shape so it doesn't leave me half way home.

1995 honda civic ex. single cam vtec.
mods: magnaflow cat-back exhaust, AEM cold-air intake, hp racing 4-2-1 2 piece headers, clear corners, dropped an inch and a half, sitting on 17" motegi's wrapped in some toyo's, dc sports short shifter
replacements: new O2 sensor, distributor seals, vtec solenoid seals, oil pan gasket, new upper radiator hose, new radiaotr cap
future mods: t3/t4 ball bearing turbo set-up running at 8-18 psi. HKS blow-off valve, boost controller, turbo timer, boost gauge, oil temp gauge, air/fuel ratio gauge, sony xplod head unit, 12' woofer in bak 6" speakers all around, body kit molded and painted, carbon fiber wing. front strut tower bar, under braces, replace my lowering springs with tein coilovers,paint job to lambo yellow, add a 75-100 shot of nitrous....
