Your preffered action into and out of waveshine.

Just asking around as a curious topic to see what others prefer to do before and after a waveshine. Which aerial do you prefer for initiating it, or do you prefer to just run up and start the combo lol. Also, do you prefer following up with grab, upsmash, nair, or bair (reverse waveshine), just a ludicrously long waveshine infinite (assuming you can on the character) or some combination of these. Tell why as well, I find myself just going the easy way out with an upsmash and would like to hear why people prefer other options.

Could have done a poll, but my favorite is grab. That's probably because I don't play enough fox to do Waveshine U-smashes.

My answer is, and yours should be, it depends! Against characters like doc and samus you should learn the dash jc usmash-followup after waveshine, because it's the only one that will hit consistently, and uthrow uair needs reads to connect. Against CF and peach you have a lot of options, but I'm more content grabbing a CF than grabbing a Peach, since she can easily get out of uthrow uair by DIing the throw. Your options have different qualities, find out what is better for which situation. Against both CF and Peach I like to waveshine them over the stage, and reverse uptilt at a certain %, low enough that I can follow up from it.

Oh I am aware that certain ones work where others don't depending on the matchup but I was referencing more universal options on characters like peach and falcon as you said. Thanks for your input though :)
