Then I'll set up my control scheme (WM + Nun, custom controls)

Then I'll check out the menus.

Then I might check out what characters and stages there are in the starting roster.

Then I'll either do Classic or SSE.

Then I'll play some VS if my friend(s) want to...

...if not, then I might check out the Stage Builder or Event Mode or do Classic/SSE (whichever I didn't do previously).

The first thing I do in Brawl will probably load up a vs match of Mario vs Sonic. Its been how long in the coming? Either that or play some Classic mode, probably as Sonic or one of the new characters like Poketrainer

I pick 5. My brother and I want to do a couple versus matches first, and if friends are over, we'll probably do even more.

After that's done though I'll definitely go through the Subspace Emissary and try to unlock a few characters.

And after that, online.

I would probably first pass out in pure happyness.
Then i would do the same as I did in Melee. Do Adventure mode(SSE) in Co-op with my friend.
Then I would try out normal VS mode and try out all the chars.

Then maybe we'd hit the stage editor.

But you know we'd HAVE to try out online.

And then there's the target test, that's always fun.

We LOVE the home run contest.
