I'm having a bit trouble doing DJC shield break with Yoshi. Does anyone have any tips for doing the double jump cancel very fast, and what buttons do you usually use? R og A, double tap one of the C-bottons or slide your finger from one C-button to another?

Well for me I use C-down since its closest to the A button. All you do is double tap C-down > Neutral air > Z-Cancel ( press the Z-button when coming in contact with the ground). Repeat (Do it fast but not to fast or you won't be able to register the hit box)

You just got to practice it, try it on computers. They tend to put their shields up long enough for you to pull it off.

So mean-spirited, ballin'. You should be a more positive person.

Yoshi shield breaks are hard. Practice makes perfect, I guess? I'm not really the right person to advise you here.

a lot of characters have fairly easy shield break tactics, the hard part is getting the opponent in the right place to shield.

imo yoshi is harder to shield break than ness because yoshi requires timing of sorts whereas ness can just go as fast he wants. more precisely, with ness i do the whole: 'slide my thumb from left c to down c to a, but trying to do that with yoshi results in him going way to fast. i find with yoshi it's best just to hit down c twice and do that as fast you can.
