Yoshi L Cancel

I have can't tell if i should L Cancel on yoshi i really cant tell the difference. Should i L cancel or can i not Lcancel on Yoshi? Please help.

Why wouldn't you L cancel with any character?? Like there is no logic behind this, sorry.

always l-cancel. You'll be able to tell if you get into the habit of doing an action out of an aerial like dash or jab. If do a fading fair and try and jab reset your jab won't be fast enough if you don't l-cancel.
