SoVa=Southern Virginia...and your vid wasn't too embarrassing...of course, the only matches I post are ones between two humans...it's not fun otherwise...

Btw, Blu, most of all SoVa smashers hail from the Beach, so you're in a good place, just poke around here, and find some people...

IT, Lonewolf, and I are gonna spend Saturday prepping for the tourney (at least me and IT, anyway...), so I'll try to get some vids up...my Falco's gotten a lot faster...maybe I'll do better than dead last this time >_<...

I'm in...IT said he's coming (unless something major comes up...which is unlikely), and I think Lonewolf may come...I'm also seeing if Junior can come...doubt they'll wanna do tournies (what, with G-Reg comin' and all)...

Anyway, I'd like to announce that Blu-Ninja is now officially a member...he will be one of the Richmond branch's casual members, and I hope that he will improve even more to the point that we can put him in charge of our VA Beach Branch...so let's all give 'im a round of applause *claps*...

To Cinder- Sorry about the controller thing. I sincerely think and hope that the one you gave me was, in fact, mine. If not, I'd feel like an *** for having it. I wasn't going to try and get it from you until you said you didn't care what sort of controller you had. I'm just particular about mine because I have to play very technical and I love having one controller to break in and get good with. Sooo, I greatly appreciate you offering it to me. Hope there are no hard feelings. =( <333 Next triweekly, we should play some friendlies and ill help you out with fighting marth...Cause he's a flaming ***got.

^Of course there are no hard feelings...like I said, I'm really chill 'bout it...all I care about is leaving with as many controllers as I came in with >_<...besides, it was Tope's to begin with:laugh:...and yeah, I could use a little help against Marth...I'll get the hang of it eventually...it just sucks that I don't have easy access to human players >_>...

marth is the most annoying CPU sentient i have ever fought.
his grabs are UNNATURALL...i can beat him but, VERY ANNOYING.

^I know, right:laugh:...still, don't base it on the CPU...any CPU is cheap at high levels...but yeah, Marth has some sick grabbin' skill...I need to learn to tech out of his grabs...that's how Cyrain beat me so bad (that and he's a ****load better:p)

Done :)...I put Luigi and Kirby as low tier mains, but if you want me to put Luigi with Peach and Kirby as a secondary, I'll be more than happy to do it...

Sorry for the double, but this thread was gonna die otherwise (shame I need to double to save this thread <_<)

But I do come bearing news...first off, Ice Tr4y needs to change his name again :rolleyes:...he has decided on Twiddle...

Also, Twiddle and I will start hosting tourneys in the near future...all we need to do is find a good time, and we're off...they will be at my place in Goochland, though...and MapQuest can't find our house, so I'll post a new thread with directions...

Ahhh...a fresh breath of life...we need to make a bigger name for ourselves apparently :laugh:...

But yeah, we'll start hosting soon...as a little FYI, Blu, they'll be on Saturdays, but crew members are recommended to spend Friday night (not that I would demand it...) I'll send the word to Twiddle and Lonewolf...and Krammit, R3dd, GTOnizukadude, and whoever else is in or may join the crew...

Well anyway...yeah...I'm tryin' to see if I can get a tourney up on the 8th...a pre-Brawl blowout :)...I've already sent in an application to be a tournament director...

Anyway...I just wanted to poke my head in and say that I'm retiring from the Smash community...I'll keep this thread, since BatM, CyberFish, and PinkPig still play...and of course, I'll play for fun ^_^...but I'm no longer playing Smash competitively...

Cinder was fine with smash in Melee, then went Brawl, then dropped out of Smash completely. I'm simpley just reminding him Melee still exists since he's dropping out after playing Brawl. He can simply go back to Melee if he chooses to not play Brawl. Or he could just quit smash all together. Again it's a reminder.

I myself favor Melee over Brawl. Yet I care less what other people think. If people wanna play Brawl.. Let them play Brawl. If they wanna play Melee.. Let them play Melee.

And those posts are very true, but good luck getting people to listen. People are gonna be arguing about "lulz this games better because of content" and "lulz this game is better because it's got more stuff."

They play differently, so people have to learn to treat them as two different games despite the title.

Sorry for the double (keeping dead threads alive FTW!!), but I have an announcement...

The crew as a whole has dropped Brawl, and everyone has moved back to Melee...I'll get the info on mains up as soon as we get our core members set...and we're planning to start hosting tourneys soon, as soon as we find a good place to host...PM or AIM me if you're interested in participating (or just playing a few matches)...
