Xbox 360 - Where are the 20gb's?

So I went to Walmart to get an Xbox 360 yesterday, and I went up to the counter in the video games section. I politely asked, "Do you guys have any 20 gigabyte Xbox 360's in stock?" The man replied, "No I'm sorry we don't carry those anymore."
So I said, "Oh, why not?"
"I don't think they make them anymore."
"Are you sure."
"Positive, but we do carry an xbox 360 elite, arcade and a 60 gigabyte if your interested."
"No i'm alright, thanks anyways"


I really didn't believe him so I went to bullmoose. Same thing.

So, do they still make 20 gigabyte xbox 360's anymore?

However, the price cut isn't as straightforward a story as had been assumed. In a move reminiscent of Sony's discounting and then discontinuing of the 60GB PlayStation 3 at last year's E3 Media & Business Summit, the $299 price point will be in effect only while supplies last. That's because Microsoft is phasing out the 20GB 360 and replacing it with a long-rumored new model that will have a 60GB hard drive. The 60GB 360 will go on sale in "early August" at the 20GB's former $349 price point.

They don't make 20GB 360s anymore. You've got the Arcade SKU at $200 with no harddrive, the Pro SKU at $300 and the Elite SKU at $400.

If you manage to find a 20GB, it'll likely be discounted, like RedPeppers said Walmart.com has 20GB 360s for $260.

For $100, yes. So you may as well just pick up a Premium SKU with a 60GB harddrive.

I do love wasting money... i remember that time i had 150 dollars for birthday money and i spent it on like... alot of three musketeers bars....that was a good 2 years after...

if you are going to buy the hardware seperatly, why not but the 60GB one altogether? if not, you could always check your local Gamestop, they usually have them and discounted, at least where I live they do.

Agreed. This is not a joke. Just buy the 20GB so at least you have an enclosure and can easily upgrade with your own SATA hdd (specific ones only though). Saves tons of $$$.
