That's a pretty interesting idea. I think I'm going to try it out. I've completely given up on wireless controllers. It's too much of a hassle to have to buy/change the batteries.I don't know about wireless 360 controllers -- I'd imagine that MBreeto is right, and that you need an adapter of some sort first -- but I have a GameStop-brand 360 controller which works perfectly on my computer. I would imagine that, if that one works, all of them do.
I also just thought of this, but come to think of it if you have a rechargeable battery pack and plug-in for wireless 360 controllers, you may be able to plug that into your computer and get it to work. I haven't tested it yet, so I don't know for sure, but I'll test it and get back to you.
No, I don't have one, so that could be why.@Firus - I assume you have some sort of plugin or application that configures 360 controllers? If not, then maybe that's the issue. Although, it is interesting that it recognizes the controller but it doesn't work. At least it charges it![]()
