Jump off the stage.. press R

Its pretty much the same thing as a failed wavedash off the edge,

otherwise you just grab the edge

Be careful with continuous wavedashing, it can be hazardous to your stocks.

i've never found it to be too hazardous... but yeah, while you're trying to edgehog w/ a wavedash by the edge, it's easy to frack it up. The term my crew uses is the "triangle jump of doom", meeting the general naming form of adjective noun of something intense
