Well, for starters, of all the music I heard so far, I only like about 15% of them. Snake's, Ridley's, Battlefeilds...okay, maybe less than 15%. But I was listening to Angel Island again, and was thinking of how I've heard better remixes of this theme. Then I began to wonder. Wouldn't it be great if we could use music from SD Cards? It would suck for me in the long run because my computer doesn't have any slots for SD Cards. But I could imagine playing whatever Sonic level we get with tons of Sonic remixes I have, or whatever DK levels we get with tons of DKC remixes I have. You know, if case you don't like whatever Brawl gives you.

For example, in DKC 2 and 3, I'm pretty found of 2's mine, and 3's mountain cliffs music (because of a simular part of the music they each have). And I have a pretty good remix of it. What if Brawl doesn't use either of those two that I like? I would prefer to add my own so I can battle to it once in awhile.

Of course the effect wouldn't be that great if you fought in Smashville with music from Korn or something, but for those of us that would actually prefer to listen to our favorite Video Game Music remixes while playing Brawl, this would be a nice feature. I believe Excitetruck lets us do it, so why not Brawl?

Cos that's a pain in the *** and not everyone has something to play music on right next to their TV.

also if your music selection is coming from a different area of the room than your TV sounds, it gets weird. i tried listening to music off my computer while playing melee and it just felt weird...the music only entered my left ear.

This is a cool idea, and excite truck does let you do that I believe, which makes this possible. I am lucky enough to have 2 computers and a huge stereo system near my Wii though XD

1.My karaoke/boombox does not play my favorite CD.

As much as it would be awesome to fight to "Soldiers of the Wasteland," I think Nintendo wants you to fight with the music they made. Which is why they might have over 100 songs in it.

Then they better remix some of the best music ever, and remix them good. To this day, I still haven't heard a good remix of Green Hill Zone or Marbal Zone. But I've heard the most awesome remix to Ice Cap Zone, ever.

Of course, I think this would make a great idea.
But still, the SSBB music needs some love too. I actually liked around 95 % of it, but that's just me. I love the different flavor to it, but most people aren't into synthesizing at all since it sounds so "Midi". But have you had the idea that the SSB series is not only about the new, but also about the old, the retro? I guess that's why they made the music sound different. Also, the quality on the DOJO is not how the music will sound, I'm pretty sure about that, and during the fight, the music sounds and feels completely different anyway.

Besides, there's always the MUTE button and the IPod.

2. Audio Input wires (one end plugs into your mp3 player's headphone slot, and the red and/or white ends go into the tv, simple and effective.)

me and mah crew do it all the time.. you have all the music you want, and it's playing directly from the tv. simply lower the music volume, turn on mono, and plug out on of the audio wires.

if you have on of those crappy tv's that use only a white and yellow input, for example... you're screwed for having sound and music XDXD

Saying that MOST of these songs aren't even the full versions ( most die out before they even begin or start in the middle! 0-o; ) I think we are fine with music. Yet I could see a "Play your own music" option in this game...somewhere anyway...

Even if there isn't one, I'll live and I amsure most people here will as well.

Oh yeah, COMPLETELY ignore this historical musical team by brawling to whatever you want. That makes a whole lot of sense for Sakurai to do...

This has been discussed before and probably will not happen because of the big deal Sakurai makes about the musical team. If you really want to smash to whatever you want, do what people have suggested, because the whole SD card thing is most likely not going to happen.
